摘要: A recording sheet has a base and a receptive layer disposed on at least one surface of the base. The receptive layer contains at least a water-absorbent copolymer and said water-resistant graft copolymer whose main chain is polyvinyl alcohol. The water-absorbent copolymer absorbs inks, and the water-resistant graft copolymer makes the receptive layer resistant to discoloration, blurring, and gloss or luster irregularities. The water-absorbent graft copolymer comprises a graft copolymer produced by grafting a vinyl monomer having a carboxyl group and a monomer having a functional group reacting with the carboxyl group. The water-absorbent copolymer comprises a copolymer of acrylic acid and vinyl alcohol. The water-resistant graft copolymer and the water-absorbent copolymer are added at a ratio in parts by weight ranging from 20/80 to 80/20, preferably, from 30/70 to 70/30.

摘要: A heat-resistant film includes a film substrate and a heat-resistant slip layer. The heat-resistant slip layer is disposed on one surface of the film substrate and contains a binder and a slip additive, which is a higher fatty acid metal salt composition containing a free higher fatty acid in an amount of 3 to 30 wt % and a metal salt of a higher fatty acid. With this heat-resistant film, a good heat-resistivity and slipperiness are obtained even when the slip additive is contained in the heat-resistant slip layer in relatively small amounts. The slip additive improves the solution stability of the coating composition used to form the heat-resistant slip layer. Preferably, the free higher fatty acid is stearic acid and the metal salt of higher fatty acid is aluminum stearate.

摘要: A printing material containing a white layer and an absorption layer formed on a base material made of a resin film. The base material may be black and opaque, while the white layer contains titanium oxide. The absorption layer may contain a protein and absorbs aqueous inks. The white layer is hydrophilic and thus highly compatible with aqueous inks which have permeated the absorption layer and reached the white layer, thereby giving a vivid image. The printing material may be used in an advertising poster adhered to a windowpane of a bus, etc. by forming a number of holes in the printing material.

摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide a recording sheet which can produce colorful printed images of high quality without causing either problem of repelling of ink even in multicolor printing or blurring in the printed images with the lapse of time, and which can also confer high phototransmission on the printed images so that it is well suitable for a transparency for OHP. A recording sheet having an ink-receiving layer formed on at least one surface of a substrate is disclosed, wherein said ink-receiving layer is formed by applying a resin solution comprising (a) a resin containing (1) a component presenting water-solubility in its molecules and (2) a component containing a functional group forming a crosslinking point in its molecules and presenting water-solubility before a crosslinking point is formed, and (b) a water-soluble resin on the substrate, and thereafter forming a crosslinking point.

摘要: In a new printer, a toner cartridge is mounted in the state where there is no toner in a reserve tank, and toner of the amount of filling toner D therein is supplied with the amount of full accommodation toner E for filling up the reserve tank by a toner supply mechanism. The toner of the amount of remaining surplus toner F remains in the toner cartridge. The amount of toner consumption G is measured by a dot counter during a printing execution. In the case where a toner density sensor detects a toner decreasing, the toner is supplied to a developing unit from the reserve tank. When it becomes G>F, it display-informs a user of “toner cartridge exchange is allowed”. Hereby, it enables to exchange the toner cartridge without stopping operation of the main body of the image forming apparatus using a two-component developer.

摘要: A vehicle seat device in which a seat can be simply and reliably held at a storage position. In a vehicle seat, a vehicle width direction outer side end portion of a seat cushion is supported so as to be capable of rotating around a drive shaft having an axis along a vehicle front-rear direction, and the seat cushion can be switched between a seating configuration at which an occupant can be seated and a storage configuration at which the seat cushion stands erect along a vehicle cabin inner side surface, due to being rotated around the drive shaft by a driving motor. Further, the vehicle seat which is in the storage configuration is held at the storage configuration by a striker.

摘要: A zoom lens system includes a negative first lens group, a positive second lens group, and a positive third lens group, in that order from the object side, wherein upon zooming from the short focal length extremity to the long focal length extremity, the distance between the first lens group and the second lens group decreases, and the distance between the second lens group and the third lens group increases. The second lens group includes a positive first sub-lens group and a negative second sub-lens group, in that order from the object side. The second sub-lens group is a negative single lens element serving as an image-stabilizer lens group which moves in directions orthogonal to the optical axis to change the imaging position to correct image shake.
