Abstract:
A package of absorbent sanitary paper products where at least one of the absorbent sanitary paper products comprises a first network of fibers comprising cellulose fibers, a bonding layer comprising a water soluble adhesive applied to a first surface thereof in a pattern, and a second network of fibers comprising individual fibers having an average length at least about 20% greater than fibers comprising said first network of fibers adhesively attached to said bonding layer and conforming with said pattern is disclosed.
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing an absorbent sanitary paper product having a machine direction, a cross-machine direction orthogonal and co-planar thereto, and a Z-direction orthogonal to both the machine- and cross-machine directions is disclosed. The method provides the steps of: providing a first and second network of fibers each having opposing first and second sides where each fiber of the first network of fibers has a longitudinal axis generally disposed within the plane comprising the machine- and cross-machine-directions; applying a first bonding layer to one of the first and second sides of the first network of fibers; applying a first and second second network of fibers to the first bonding layer; and, placing the first and second network of fibers into face-to-face contacting engagement.
Abstract:
Arrays of sanitary tissue products of the present disclosure may comprise a first sanitary tissue product in a first package that conveys strength and/or softness, the first package may be disposed on a retail store shelf; and a digital image representative of a second package that conveys sustainability, and that is representative of a second sanitary tissue product for sale, the second sanitary tissue product may be disposed at a location other than the retail store shelf. Additionally, arrays of the present disclosure may comprise a first digital image representative of a first package that conveys strength and/or softness, and that is representative of a first sanitary tissue product; and a second digital image representative of a second package that conveys sustainability, and that is representative of a second sanitary tissue product.
Abstract:
Arrays of sanitary tissue products of the present disclosure may comprise a first sanitary tissue product in a first package that conveys strength, absorption, and/or softness; and a second sanitary tissue product in a second package that conveys sustainability. TS750, lint, slip stick, tensile ratio, VFS, and SST may be common intensive properties of the first and second sanitary tissue products.
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing an absorbent sanitary paper product is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of: forming a nonwoven structure by spinning filaments; applying a plurality of fibers to the nonwoven structure to form a first network of fibers having a first and a second side and wherein the fibers and the filaments comprising the first network of fibers have a longitudinal axis generally disposed within the plane comprising the machine- and cross-machine-directions; applying a first bonding layer in a first pattern to one of the first and second sides of the first network of fibers; and, applying a first second network of fibers to the first bonding layer, the first second network of fibers comprising a combination of a first plurality of fibers and a second plurality of fibers, the first and second pluralities of fibers being different.
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a strip of absorbent paper product. The method includes: providing a strip that has a strip width, which has a first dimension, disposed between a first edge and a second edge and a centerline extending in a longitudinal direction equidistant between the first edge and the second edge; imparting a pattern of first design elements in a central region wherein each first design element comprises a visual center point and the pattern has a pattern centerline in the longitudinal direction, the pattern of first design elements being disposed within a central width having a second dimension, the second dimension being less than the first dimension, and the central region extending laterally outwardly on each side of the centerline; and, imparting a plurality of second design elements on the strip, wherein at least one of second design elements is disposed in the central region.
Abstract:
