摘要: The present invention is drawn toward a method of forming conductive paths on a substrate using ink-jet technology. An ink-jettable suspension or solution can be formed containing a conductive particulate having certain desired conductive properties. The suspension can then be ink-jetted onto a substrate such as ceramic, epoxy glass, or other materials in a given pattern using various ink-jet printing technologies and methods. Depending on the chosen conductive particulates, suspension components, and substrate, the printed pattern of conductive particulates may then be heated to further enhance the conductive properties of the particulates through bonding and/or sintering.

摘要: A label making inkjet printer applies print imaging directly to the adhesive side of a media provided in sheet-form and in reel-form. Because inkjet printing is a non-contact printing method, print imaging may be applied to the adhesive side of the media. According to one embodiment, a user manually pulls tape-form media through the printer while encoding signals detect linear movement of the media and provide basis for synchronizing operation of an inkjet print head. According to another embodiment, a motorized media transport carries tape-form media on a pair of media transport belts past an inkjet print head. The resulting adhesive label when applied to a contact surface substantially disappears due to its transparent nature leaving visible only print imaging applied thereto and captured between the protective tape media and contact surface therebelow.

摘要: A measurement and marking device includes a housing, a positional sensing assembly mounted in the housing, a printhead assembly mounted in the housing, and a controller mounted in the housing and communicating with the positional sensing assembly and the printhead assembly. The positional sensing assembly is adapted to sense a position of the housing relative to an object as the housing is moved along a surface of the object and the printhead assembly is adapted to print on the surface of the object as the housing is moved along the surface of the object. As such, the controller is adapted to operate the printhead assembly to print a mark on the surface of the object based on the position of the housing relative to the object as the housing is moved along the surface of the object.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for printing an image onto a hydrophobic, adhesive surface of a transparent, plastic receptor media using an inkjet printer. After the image is printed, the receptor media is applied to an item, thereby personalizing the item with the image. Since the image is printed onto the adhesive surface, it is protected from moisture and scuffing after it is applied to the item. The image appears professionally printed on the item because the transparent receptor media blends with the background of the item and appears borderless. However, since the image is printed using an inkjet printer, the personalized item can be easily created at home.

One exemplary energizing circuit incorporated into a fluid ejecting device includes a piezoelectric actuator configured to selectively eject fluid from the fluid ejecting device. The circuit also includes an avalanched device electrically coupled to the piezoelectric actuator and configured to be triggered at a predetermined voltage level, and wherein the triggering of the avalanche device causes the piezoelectric actuator to be activated sufficiently to cause fluid to be ejected from the fluid ejecting device.

摘要: A hand held inkjet pen includes a housing, an ink reservoir, an inkjet printhead and a spacer. The ink reservoir is located within the housing. The inkjet printhead is located toward a distal end of the housing, and includes a plurality of nozzles for ejecting ink received from the reservoir. The spacer is located at the distal end of the housing for contacting a media sheet. Force applied to the spacer selects an on state for controlling ejection of ink from the plurality of nozzles.
