摘要： A method and apparatus for assembling a plurality of independently formed solid components is provided thereby forming a single delivery vehicle for a pharmaceutical or pharmaceutical-like product. The solid components can be held and fed to the apparatus via a plurality of magazines. Pusher rods and the like can be used for positioning each of the solid components. Where the components are connected via a bonding liquid, a sprayer is provided and compression pins or the like press the components with the bonding liquid together to form the final product. A rivet or other connection structure can also be used and driven through holes in each of the solid components to form the final product.

摘要： The remote control assembly 10 is characterized by a terminal mechanism 34 including a tubular anchor member 36 slidably supported on a tubular fitting 22 extending from the conduit 14. The anchor member 36 is secured to the outer end 30 of a rod 26 extending form the core element 12 and is disposed in close sliding relationship about the tubular fitting 22. The terminal mechanism 34 also includes a tubular connector member 44 and a coil spring 46. The connector member 44 is in telescoping relationship with the anchor member 36 and the spring 46 biases the connector member 44 in an extending direction and provides lost motion between the rod 26 and the control member in response to a predetermined collapsing force. A resilient cushion 48 is disposed in the connector member 44 for cushioning collapsing movement of the connector member 44 over the anchor member 36. There is also disclosed a method of fabricating the terminal mechanism comprising the steps of sliding a rod end 38 of the tubular anchor member 36 into an open end of the tubular connector member 44, establishing an abutment coacting between the connector member 44 and the anchor member 36 for limiting movement of the connector member 44 to a fully extended position in relationship to the anchor member 36, placing a coil spring 46 about the anchor member 36 and the connector member 44 to bias the connector member 44 to the fully extended position from the anchor member 36, sliding the anchor member 36 over the tubular fitting 22 extending from the conduit 14, and connecting the rod end 38 of the anchor member 36 to the outer end 30 of the rod 26.

摘要： A method and apparatus for the control of a performing arts show is described where play lists containing audio tracks, light events, and lyric display events are streamed by a computer and mixed with stage-performed audio. An onstage bank of switches is used to control the play list remotely by a performer. Light brightness, color, and position are synchronized to the audio tracks of the play list in order to create light scenes onstage that correspond to the audio tracks being played. Also synchronized with the audio tracks is the display of song lyric text on the computer screen in order to serve as a reminder to the performer and to give a visual cue of the position of the audio track. Such a system enables musicians to perform along with backing audio while presenting a light show to the audience without the need for dedicated lighting personnel.

摘要： A method and apparatus for holding a microphone is described where a support member containing either flexible legs or an elastomeric pad is compressed between an amplifier and a speaker cabinet to provide support for a microphone for the purpose of capturing the sound coming out of a speaker. Additionally, the same device may be used to mount a microphone on a combo-style amplifier by compressing the support member under the amplifier's handle.
