摘要: A method for operating an MOX gas sensor is provided for measuring a gas concentration present in the environment. The MOX sensor is heated by an electric current source, and an electric output quantity of the sensor representing a gas concentration being detected and analyzed is generated. The MOX sensor is discontinuously heated at discrete measuring times by the electric current source, and a measured value representing the gas concentration is generated from the electric output quantity of the sensor detected during the discrete measuring times. A device for operating the MOX gas sensor is additionally is provided.

摘要: A fluorescent sensor for the detection of gas compositions has a carrier substrate and a fluorescent layer. The carrier substrate and fluorescent layer consists of a gas-permeable polymer matrix with an embedded fluorescent dye. A diffusion layer of gas-permeable ceramics and/or polymers is arranged over the fluorescent layer and is adapted to cause a time delay of the gas diffusion from a detected-environment to the fluorescent layer and from the fluorescent layer to a detected-environment.

摘要: Dynamically isolating application servers, wherein only active application servers are indicated to client applications to prevent access to inactive application servers by the client applications. A central server of a distributed system determines a state of application servers in a system, and generates a list of application servers that includes all application servers of the system including an indication of the state of the application servers. The central server also generates a filtered list of application servers that excludes inactive application servers or application servers in an inactive mode. The filtered list is passed to client applications, which enables the client applications to only access the active application servers, but not access the inactive application servers.

摘要: A method and telecommunication system is disclosed for transmission of a message from a first telecommunication terminal to a second telecommunication terminal, of which at least one is connected to a line-connected telephone network. The message is converted as a short message into the short message format, a connection setup is realized and the short message is transmitted in the short message format to a short message service center and from the latter to the second telecommunication terminal, where the transmission of the short message to the short message center and/or to the second telecommunication terminal is carried out by means of DTMF or FSK off-hook signaling in the voice band.

摘要: The invention relates to a combination lock, in particular for two-wheelers, having a lock body and a bolt which are permanently connected to one another via a flexible connection device—such as a cable, a spiral cable, an armored cable, a chain or the like—, wherein the lock body has a combination locking mechanism, wherein the bolt has a bolt body and a bolt mandrel with a plurality of lateral engagement cut-outs, and wherein the bolt mandrel can be introduced into the lock body to cooperate there with the combination locking mechanism. The bolt mandrel is made as a sheet metal part which is made separately from the bolt body and is permanently fastened to the bolt body.

摘要: ABSTRACT The invention relates to a process for the operation of a data link between a base station and one or several mobile stations. According to said process data packets are transmitted between the base station and the mobile stations within transmission phases. The start of each transmission phase is indicated each time through emission of a start signal, and the transmission interface between the base station and the mobile stations for the transmission phase in question is managed by the base station. The data packets are formed with the data of a data stream and a received data stream is formed with the received data packets. The start and the end of each data packet forming operation is each time triggered by the start signals.
