摘要: A polyfunctional radical scavenger hydrogel formulation providing extended protection of the extracellular space within a wound site. The polyfunctional radical scavenger hydrogel formulation is generally formed from a hydrogel, a first radical scavenger and a second radical scavenger differing from the first radical scavenger with respect to at least one property. A portion of the first radical scavenger included with the formation and/or second radical scavenger included within the formulation may be dissolved, suspended and/or bonded to a polymer of the hydrogel.

摘要: A device for killing blood-borne pathogens, and a method of using the device to effectively remove the blood-borne pathogens from a body of a human or an animal is claimed. The device comprises a wire that is inserted into a bloodstream of a patient, which releases metallic ions which effectively kill the pathogens. There are several embodiments, each of which has a combination of covered and uncovered portions of the wire. The wire is electrically connected to both a source of power and a power supply with printed circuit board or controller/software, which controls the intensity and duration of the treatment.

摘要: The present invention provides a permeable and options for semi-permeable inevitable substrate and substance made from minerals, vitamins, and detox formulas and is derived from the manufacturing process of the present invention. In one embodiment, the permeable inevitable substrate and substance may be used in clothing or other articles to be worn, in hospital settings, areas of nuclear waste, areas high in toxins, or areas of high radiation that may enable the radiation, the high energy levels and the toxins to activate the substrates and formulas that have been infused into clothing to self-clean and detox the clothing while it is being worn. In another embodiment, semi-permeable methods may be used by utilizing various forms of silicas and ortho silicates to ensure that positive molecules and ions are able to be diffused, while keeping out negative ions and minerals by diffusion or breaking apart the negative compositions.

摘要: A medicinal nanocomposite is provided. The medicinal nanocomposite includes 80 to 99 wt. % carrier particles of a porous silicate material selected from a group including mesoporous silica, silicalite, mesosilicalite, silver-incorporated silicalite, and silver-incorporated mesosilicalite, the carrier particles comprising a pore framework, 0.5 to 10 wt. % silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) disposed the pore framework, and 0.5 to 10 wt. % of a platinum-containing pharmaceutical compound disposed on at least one surface selected from an interior pore surface of the carrier particles, an exterior surface of the carrier particles, and a surface of the silver nanoparticles. The medicinal nanocomposite releases less than 10 mole % of the platinum-containing pharmaceutical compound after 60 to 84 hours at a pH of 4.5 to 7, based on an initial amount of the platinum-containing pharmaceutical compound present in the medicinal nanocomposite.

The mixture can be heated to complete the bio-reduction process and provide the Salsola tetrandra silver nanoparticle composition. The Salsola tetrandra silver nanoparticles can be used to treat or inhibit a fungal infection, such as invasive pulmonary aspergillosis.

摘要: A wound irrigation system includes a first fluid including an ion rich compound having free available ions; and a second fluid including an oxidation-reduction potential increasing compound, the second fluid housed separately from the first fluid. Mixing the first and second fluids in a charging area forms an ionically charged fluid with an oxidation-reduction potential higher than a wound site oxidation-potential. The ionically charged fluid increases antimicrobial activity of the wound upon application.
