摘要: A sharps container for pen needle assemblies includes an open top-type receptacle, a cover and a manually movable means. The manually movable means is rotatably positioned on the cover and has portions collectively forming a cup-like means for receiving a used pen needle assembly when the manually movable means is in an open position. When the manually movable means is in a closed position, the used pen needle assembly is transferred by gravity to the bottom of the receptacle.

摘要: A sharps container for safe storage of used pen needles comprises a housing within which is rotatably mounted a used pen needle receiving and ejecting means. Used pen needles are inserted into the receiving means. The receiving and ejecting means is rotated; during the rotation, cam follower means connected to the ejecting means engages cam means within the housing to cause the ejection of the used pen needle into the housing.

摘要: A sharps container for only one medical pen needle is configured with an elongated, hollow shield having an axially extending recess at a first end thereof. The recess is sized to receive the outer diameter of a pen needle hub. A cover member, sized for closing off the first end of the shield, is connected to the shield by means facilitating movement of the cover member between (i) a first position adjacent to a side of the shield and (ii) a second position abutting the first end of the shield. Locking means may be used for locking the cover member in the second position. The container has dual utilizations, first as a container for only one used medical pen needle and alternatively as a container for only one unused medical pen needle.

摘要: An Agenda-Driven Meeting (ADM) allows a distributed set of users to have an online, not necessarily synchronous meeting including an agenda which specifies both the topics or goals of the meeting's phases, as well as the interrelationship between the phases, including the order of execution. The system provides a graphical representation, which shows the status of each phase—including indicators of user participation—as well as the relationship between the phases. Input can include text comments; queries, potentially directed to one or more users; responses to these queries; task assignments, also potentially directed to one or more users; summaries of phases; and indicators of users interest in a given query or response. The ADM graphic representation reflects each of the elements including the particular phase to which a given element is related. The system allows a given user to replay a given ADM instance, even after the meeting has been completed. A service is also provided enabling a service organization to facilitate the use of Agenda-Driven Meetings by a customer organization.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for allowing the sharing of social relationships collections including the step of creating a social relationship collection object for a first user that provides access to at least one individual with whom they have a social relationship and allowing a second user to retrieve the social relationship collection object. As a result of allowing said second user to retrieve the social relationship collection object, the second user inspects a reference contained in the first user's social relationship collection object.

摘要: According to an embodiment of the invention, a method includes steps of deriving a process-based resource adjustment model for the process; monitoring the process for the number of users using each of steps of the process at time t0; calculating the number of users that will using each of the process steps at time t1, which is later than time t0; determining the resources required to serve the process at time t1; and adjusting the resources as appropriate to ensure adequate capacity, this adjustment completed by time t1. Other embodiments include a computer program product and an information processing system configure for performing the process.
