摘要: A controlling device that determines the diaphragm aperture of the camera in accordance with an output of a light measuring circuit, which detects a light from an object to be photographed being illuminated by a light which includes an alternatingly changing component and has its intensity maintained constant in effect for a given time period. The device is equipped with a smoothing circuit for smoothing the ripple component in the photoelectric output. The smoothing circuit is set to have a charge time constant smaller than the discharge time constant and generates an output equivalent to the peak value of the ripple component. The light that illuminates the photographic object can be generated from the electronic flash and the photoelectric detector may be arranged within the body of a camera to receive the light from the photographic object that passes through the diaphragm aperture of the camera.

摘要: The present invention is an exposure information setting circuit for use in photographic cameras which calculates the required exposure time in response to input signals indicative of APEX indices and produces a signal indicative of the exposure time. The circuit is constituted mainly by an integrated circuit which takes advantage of the fact that although the absolute values of electrical characteristics of the circuit elements may fluctuate, particular ratios of such values can be maintained in a predetermined ratio with good precision. This maintenance of the particular ratios can be achieved without requiring any supplementary voltage sources or/and adjustment resistors, whereby large-scale production of the exposure information setting circuit at low cost is possible.

摘要: An automatic electronic flash device capable of producing both a preliminary flash light used for automatic determination of a diaphragm aperture of a camera and a primary flash light used for actual photographing has signal contacts which are less in number than the signals to be transmitted from the camera to the flash device for the control of the production of the preliminary and primary flash lights. Thus, a common signal contact is used for transmission of both a preliminary flash control signal and a primary flash stop signal. The flash device is provided with a control circuit which properly delivers the two signals to a preliminary flash control circuit section and a primary flash termination circuit section of the flash device in dependence upon whether or not a synchronizing signal for initiating the production of the primary flash light appears at the synchronizing contacts. The preliminary flash control signal controls both initiation and termination of the production of the preliminary flash light in an embodiment and only termination of the production of the preliminary flash light in another embodiment, with which another signal contact is used for receiving a preliminary flash command signal for initiating the production of the preliminary flash light from the camera.

摘要: A flash photography system for a camera which is adapted to be used with an electronic flash device which supplies a control signal when the device is a ready condition. The camera includes a diaphragm control circuit which automatically control the diaphragm aperture in accordance with a measurement of the light from the scene to be photographed. The diaphragm control circuit includes a circuit for producing a first program signal for controlling the diaphragm aperture and camera exposure time in a first programmed relationship with the light measurement for daylight or natural light photography, and a circuit for produces a second program signal for controlling the diaphragm aperture in a second programmed relationship with the light measurement for flash photography. The second program signal is adapted to provide a proper exposure for the ambient light condition as well as the flash light illumination.

摘要: A flash photography system adapted for the combination of an electronic flash device and a photographic camera with an electrically controlled shutter which, as in the case of two-curtain type focal plane shutters, effects film exposure with a slit scanning or sweeping over the film surface. To enable full film exposure of a scene being illuminated by the flash light, the electronic flash tube is controlled to emit light at a constant light intensity for a period sufficient enough to cover the time during which the shutter slit completes its travel. The flash light emission is initiated in synchronization with the actuation of the shutter, i.e., the commencement of the scanning or sweeping of the shutter slit. The flash light may be emitted prior to the shutter operation for the determination of camera diaphragm aperture.

摘要: A sound reproducing apparatus which can be relatively inexpensive as a whole and also be simple in construction with reduced wiring even in the case where many speakers are used. Pulse-width modulated (PWM) pulses are generated based on respective audio signals for multiple-channel speakers. PWM pulses are time-division multiplexed and amplified, and then output as digital driving signals. The multiple-channel speakers are selectively turned on/off such that the digital driving signals are supplied to the respective multiple-channel speakers of corresponding channels.

摘要: A camera system operable with data carried from a camera accessory to a camera body. The camera accessory has a ROM for storing various data at a plurality of addresses, respectively, each of which data consists of a plurality of bits, and a coupling terminal for receiving a train of clock pulses from the camera body. A circuit is also provided for squentially designating the address of the ROM one by one to permit the ROM to output data stored at the designated address. In the circuit, an address signal is formed in response to the clock pulses, received through the coupling terminal, for designating an address. The data derived from the ROM are transmitted to the camera body.

摘要: An electromechanical device such as a camera diaphragm control device includes a compensation means which compensates for a time lag from generation of a stop signal to actual stoppage of a movable member such as a diaphragm or a diaphragm drive member. The amount of compensation is varied in accordance with determination of the amount of the movement of the movable member from an initial end position to a position where the movable member is to be stopped. In the case of automatic diaphragm control, the amount to be determined may be the steps from the full open position to a position corresponding to a diaphragm aperture to be determined.

摘要: An audible indication system indicates, by sound, information relating to camera operation and/or exposure condition such as information that a self-timer is in operation, that the camera is operated by a remote control signal, that the brightness of an object to be photographed is in a blur-occurring range or so high as to require non-available shutter speed, or that an electronic flash is ready for firing. A control means is provided for controlling the volume of the sound in accordance with the information to be indicated such that the information to be recognized remotely from the indicator, such as the information of self-timer operation and remotely controlled camera operation, is indicated with sound of a loud volume, while the information to be recognized in the proximity of the indicator, such as warning of out-of-range object brightness and the ready condition of an electronic flash device, is indicated with sound of relatively low volume. Additionally, the frequency of the sound for the indication may be changed depending on the information to be discriminated.
