    摘要： An optical disk apparatus optically records and reproduces data from an optical information recording medium by an optical head. A first chamber is formed to accommodate at least an optical disk cartridge accommodating therein the recording medium and the optical head and is isolated from ambient air. The first chamber is spatially isolated from heat sources, such as a power supply or a circuit board package which needs cooling. Ambient air is supplied to the heat sources while bypassing the first chamber. In this manner, dust contained in ambient air is prevented from adhering to optical parts such as the optical disk and the optical head.

When the driving unit does not move the carriage to a position where at least one of the ink containers is facing the light receiver, the determining unit determines whether the at least one of the ink containers is mounted at the correct position, based on the light received from the light emitters at a position adjacent to the facing position.

    摘要： A flow rate control valve, which is capable of controlling the flow rate of a fluid that flows between a pair of ports by displacing a rod, includes a valve mechanism in an axial direction. The valve mechanism includes a body having the ports and a pair of fluid passages through which fluid supplied from the ports flows. The valve mechanism includes a sub-body disposed in an interior of the body, and in which the rod is screw-engaged in an advancing and retracting manner. The valve mechanism also includes a tubular shaped seat connected to an end of the sub-body, including a seat structure to seat the rod thereon, and a hole that communicates between one of the fluid passages and another of the fluid passages.

    摘要： The present invention facilitates a supply of ink with a structural components at relatively low costs. It is performed by shifting a printing head having ink ejecting portion and sub tank portion into a state of reduced pressure. That is, draining ink from the sub tank portion to the outside and supplying ink from an ink storage container to the sub ink portion are performed by a reduced pressure in the printing head. Also, a carriage on which the printing head can be mounted shifts its position, and a plurality of ink receiving portions communicated with a plurality of their relative sub ink tank and a plurality of ink supplying portions communicated with a plurality of their relative main ink tanks are arranged in a predetermined manner. That is, the plurality of sub ink tanks and a plurality of main ink tanks are communicated together on a pair basis.
