摘要: An image forming apparatus is disclosed which comprises an image forming member for forming a plurality of images onto one sheet, a setting member for setting the number of sheets to be formed with images and a control member for controlling the image forming member in order to execute formation of the images for the number of sheets which can be loaded in a tray. The image forming member has the tray for temporarily loading the sheet on which a part of the images has been formed and further forms another part of the images onto the sheet loaded in the tray, when the number of sheets which is set by the setting member is larger than the number of sheets which can be loaded in the tray a plurality of the above operations are repeated.

摘要: An original scanning apparatus includes a reciprocable original scanning optical system, a first driving mechanism having a first motor, a second driving mechanism having a second motor and a clutch for drivingly connecting the first driving mechanism to the optical system after the optical system starts to move by the second driving mechanism in a forward direction. The backward movement of the optical system is provided by the second driving mechanism.
