摘要： A copying apparatus copies an image of each original document either in a one-side copy mode or a both-side copy mode during a cover copy mode. The copying apparatus is capable of selectively supplying colored copy sheets for a cover page and ordinary white copy sheets for the other pages. A controller controls the copying apparatus such that the image of one cover page is copied on one side of a colored copy sheet, the image of each table of contents is copied on one side of a white copy sheet, and the image of each of the other content pages is copied on both sides of a white copy sheet.

The apparatus includes a control for selecting duplicating conditions within the apparatus and a memory for storing data representative of the selected duplicating conditions in responses to a first state in which the IC-card is not set in the apparatus, and for storing data fetched from the IC-card in response to a second state when the IC-card is set in the apparatus. As document sheets are stored on the document tray facing down, the last page of the document is copied first and the first page of the document is copied last. In the case that odd numbers of document sheets are copied, a blank page interrupts between page 1 and page 2 when the copied papers are bound into a book. This invention provides a copying machine by which a user can select the position of the copied image of the first page or the last sheet of a document on a copy paper.

摘要： A copying apparatus includes a circulating type original document feeder for feeding a plurality of originals from a tray, one by one, onto an exposure section. Each original is exposed to light from an optical system and an image of each original is copied onto a sheet. The apparatus also includes a counter for counting the number of originals fed from the feeder, a binding unit for binding sheets, and a controller for inhibiting the operation of the binding unit when the value counted by the counter is over a standard. The feeder may operate in a first feeding mode where each original is fed to the exposure section with only its first side facing the optical system, or in a second feeding mode where each original is fed twice to the exposure section, once with its first side facing the optical system and then once with its other side facing the optical system. The apparatus also operates in a first copying mode where each sheet is subjected to only one copying operation, and a second copying mode where each sheet is subjected to a plurality of copying operations. An operation mode is selected from a combination of one of the two feeding modes and one of two copying modes. A standard is then determined according to the selection of the operation mode in order to prevent the binding unit from receiving a number of sheets in excess of its storage capacity.

摘要： A copying apparatus includes an exposure section, a document tray which supports stacked documents to be sent to the document support table of the exposure section and a document accommodation section which causes a first document to draw back after completion of the copying operation based on the first document which is sent first from the document tray. A copy sheet having a common image of a first document and different additional images of a plurality of second documents can be obtained. In case a first document tray for the first document and a second document tray for the second document are provided, the first document tray is used to accommodate the first document drawn back during the copying operation based on the second document. When a document tray, which supports a sheet of the first document and plural sheets of the second document under the stacked condition, is provided, a unit is provided to cause a first document, which is sent first to the document support table from the document tray, to be drawn back and then accommodate such first document. In case the first document is a double-sided document, the first document surface is reversed upside down and is sent to the copying position while such first document is sent again to the document support table from the accommodated position in the unit. The image of the first document and the image of the second document can be formed in different colors.
