摘要： An image processing apparatus includes a dividing unit configured to divide image data into pieces of print scan image data for the plurality of print scans, a quantization unit configured to quantize the pieces of print scan image data, and a generation unit configured to generate pieces of print data for the plurality of print scans on the basis of the quantized pieces of print scan image data. In a case where a density represented by the pieces of print scan image data is a low density, the quantization unit quantizes the pieces of print scan image data so that they are mutually exclusive in the plurality of print scans.

摘要： In a method of attaching an electronic component to a printed circuit board by a plurality of screws that are inserted into corresponding through holes cut in the board from a surface of the board and then screwed into corresponding screw holes formed in the component mounted on an opposite surface, the component is screwed onto the board using one of the screws and the component and the screw are soldered onto the board with lead-free solder. After they have been cooled down, the component is screwed onto the board using remaining screws. With this, the strength of the connection between the component and board is improved and also the occurrence of warp of the board and component can be prevented.

摘要： An image processing apparatus having general versatility, for flexible quantization on multivalue image data of two or more colors to image data having a reduced number of bits in correspondence with the number of bits to be quantized, by using an error diffusion scheme. When two color multivalue data are inputted, errors distributed to the position are added to the data and inputted as I′0 and I′1 into an output determination unit 2. The input data I′0 and I′1 are quantized by using LUTs 7-0 and 7-1 into numerical values of less-value representation. The two data from the LUTs 7-0 and 7-1 are inputted into an LUT 4, as coordinate values in a two-dimensional coordinate system, and two color binarized bit data (total 2 bits) are outputted.

摘要： A printing apparatus which can eliminate the necessity of issuing a head-sheet gap setting command from a digital camera even during camera direct printing, and can positively prevent a recording medium from being rubbed by a recording head and becoming tainted. A head-sheet gap adjusting device carries out adjustment of the head-sheet gap between the recording head and the recording medium according to a command from an information processing apparatus. A CPU receives a temporary command effective for one printing and a setting command which stores a setting status of the printing apparatus. When the head-sheet gap is set by the setting command, the CPU causes the head-sheet gap adjusting device to carry out the adjustment according to the head-sheet gap set by the setting command, and performs printing, while ignoring the head-sheet gap designated by the temporary command.
