The compositions and methods are provided that enhance the selection of transgenic plants having two T-DNA molecules integrated into a plant genome at different physical and genetic loci. The compositions are DNA constructs that comprise novel arrangements of T-DNA molecules containing genes of interest, positive selectable marker genes, and conditional lethal genes. The methods disclosed herein comprises transforming a plant cell to comprise the DNA constructs of the present invention, regenerating the plant cell into a plant and identifying independent transgene loci, where the selectable marker genes or transgenic elements can be segregated in the progeny.

An apparatus and method are disclosed for repairing ruptures in underground conduits. An inflatable bladder and a flexible sleeve that is wrapped about at least a portion of the bladder are introduced into a conduit proximate a rupture therein. The bladder is inflated to urge the sleeve into engagement with the conduit such that the sleeve covers the rupture. The sleeve includes an adhesive bonding substance that adheres the sleeve to the conduit and is hardenable to bond the sleeve to the conduit.

An aqueous dispersion has an addition polymer (B) formed in situ on a sulfopolyester (A). The sulfopolyester (A) is formed as a polycondensation product of first and second reaction mixtures. The first reaction mixture includes at least about 70 mol. % of terephthalic acid or an ester thereof, and about 4-20 mol. % of a difunctional ester forming sulfomonomer containing at least one metal sulfonate group attached to an aromatic nucleus, wherein the functional groups are selected from the group consisting of hydroxyls, carboxyls and alkyl esters. The second reaction mixture includes at least two different glycols, at least about 20 mol. % of the second reaction mixture being ethylene glycol. The addition polymer (B) is formed in situ on the sulfopolyester (B) by polymerizing styrene monomer.
