摘要： An improved wear resistant toothed belt for enhancing the service life of such belt against chipping of the teeth of such belt such toothed belt having stretching members disposed at the center portion thereof, a tooth portion and a back portion, the tooth surface of the tooth portion being covered with a tooth cloth impregnated with an RFL solution and further impregnated with a rubber paste, the rubber paste containing carbon in an amount of 10 phr or less relative to polymer, the amount of solid content of the RFL solution stuck on the tooth cloth being in the range of 3 to 20 wt % relative to the weight of the tooth cloth, and the amount of the solid content of the rubber paste stuck on the tooth cloth is in the range of from 6 to 18 wt % relative to the weight of the tooth cloth.

摘要： A toothed belt includes a back rubber in which is embedded a tensile body, and toothed rubber, wherein a toothed sheet is glued on an exposed toothed surface of the toothed rubber. The back rubber and the toothed rubber are formed such that a rubber composition, which compounds partial hydrogenated nitrile rubber with iodine having a value of from 12 to 20, a sulfur-based crosslinking agent and a vulcanization accelerator, is cured and molded, wherein a vulcanization accelerator is compounded in a specified ratio of tellurium dithiocarbamate compound, zinc dithiocarbamate compound, tetramethylthiuram disulfide and tetraethylthiuram disulfide.

The rubber composition-molded cured material includes 0.38 to 0.91 g of organic peroxide, based on --O--O-linkage amount, to 100 g of a polymer composition in which zinc polymethacrylate and hydrogenated nitrile rubber with hydrogenation rate of 90 to 95% are compounded in the weight ratio of from 4:96 to 20:80, 0.5 to 2.0 g of more than one higher organic acid esters, 0.5 to 2.0 g of maleimide compound, and 20 to 40 g of calcium carbonate.

摘要： A toothed belt particularly suitable for use in general industrial machineries includes a cured rubber belt body, a tensile member embedded in the belt body, and a tooth fabric adhered to the surface of teeth of the belt body. The belt body is formed primarily from a vulcanizable rubber composition containing hydrogenated nitrile rubber and zinc polymethacrylate. The zinc polymethacrylate and the hydrogenated nitrile rubber are blended together in a ratio of from 22:78 to 45:55 parts by weight. To the vulcanizable rubber composition, a vulcanizing agent comprised of peroxide and a reinforcer comprised of carbon black are added, and a mixture is vulcanized and pressed or otherwise molded to form the afore-said cured rubber belt body with the tensile member embedded therein. The tensile member is made of high-strength glass fibers. The glass fibers preferably have a resorcin-formalin-latex layer and an overcoat layer both formed thereon.

摘要： A toothed belt, as commonly employed in power transmission and timing devices, is configured of distinctly colored components, especially in that the tooth cloth covering material and underlying rubber structural elements are colored distinctly from each other with non-black colors. The wear and tear of the toothed belt is revealed by a characteristic color appearance that arises due to abrasion, erosion, or deterioration of the toothed belt, and which can be readily assessed by visual inspection to provide an estimate of remaining useful operating life of the belt. Further, the construction of the toothed belt to provide a visual indication of its condition, does not compromise the durability of the toothed belt itself.
