    摘要: A presser shoe is disposed over the entire width of a single-faced corrugated board opposedly to a glue applicator roll with a traveling path of the single-faced corrugated board therebetween, and a flexible tube is provided which presses the presser shoe toward the single-faced corrugated board by air pressure. The air pressure to be fed to the flexible tube is regulated to a predetermined pressure by an air pressure regulator so as to afford a constant pressing force continually even in the use of single-faced corrugated boards of different flutes. The pressing shoe is formed with a longitudinally extending channel as an air flowing path at least on both longitudinal end sides thereof located outside the single-faced corrugated board, and air nozzles are formed in the presser shoe perpendicularly to the surface of the glue applicator roll over an area capable of being opposed to the single-faced corrugated board, whereby an air jet deviated from the board does not strike against the surface of the glue applicator roll directly.

    摘要: An improved disc-shaped knife rotary cutter which has a reduced size and is not complicated in structure as a whole, and which require a knife only on the upper side of a traveling sheet. The knife can be used over a long period and paper powder produced as a result of cutting of a sheet by the knife can be removed by a suction box extending over a full width of the sheet. The improved rotary cutter performs cutting by moving a knife edge portion of a rotating disc-shaped knife into a surface of a sheet being successively fed. On the underside of the traveling sheet, a brush consisting of rod-shaped brush elements is fixed on a backing table over the entire region in the lateral widthwise direction of the sheet. A knife edge of the knife is disposed close to a front end portion of the backing table and upon transfer of the knife in the lateral widthwise direction of the sheet the knife is raised to be disengaged from the brush and the sheet and then it is transferred and set in position. Thereafter, while the knife is being rotated, it is lowered to be engaged with the sheet and again cuts the sheet. Furthermore, grindstones for grinding the knife edge of the disc-shaped knife are provided so as to be movable in the axial direction of a shaft of the disc-shaped knife, and in addition, there is provided a felt immersed in soapy water for peeling off paste from the knife.

    摘要: An apparatus for preventing sheets conveyed successively on a conveyor from being stacked up at the end of the conveyor in a disordered state in alignment is improved so as to assure stable operation without deforming edge portions of the handled sheets. The improvements reside in that the apparatus comprises a pair of guide members disposed on a sheet passageway above an inlet of a sheet stack-up section respectively so as to be swingable in the direction of traveling of the sheets and adjustable in positions in the lateral directions, a drive for independently adjusting the positions of the guide members in the lateral directions, sensors for detecting opposite side edge portions of a sheet moving on a transporting conveyor, and a control responsive to results of detection by the sensors for actuating the drive to adjust the positions of the respective guide members in the lateral directions.
