摘要： An earthquake-insulating bearing assembly is mounted between a foundation and a building structure. A first friction member is fixedly secured to a lower surface of the building structure. An elastic bearing is interposed between and fixed relative to an upper surface of the foundation and the lower surface of the building structure. A guide means is vertically mounted on the upper surface of the foundation. A second friction member of an annular shape is disposed around the elastic bearing and is engaged with the guide means for vertical movement therealong. An urging means is fixed relative to the upper surface of the foundation for urging the second friction member into frictional engagement with the first friction member under a selected load. The urging means comprises means for adjusting the load applied to the second friction member.

摘要： An anti-seismic device which comprises anti-seismic rubber bearings and dampers arranged in parallel, the anti-seismic rubber bearing being formed by laminating a plurality of rigid hard plates and soft boards having a viscoelastic property one over another, the damper being composed mainly of a viscoelastic material having the physical properties (i) and (ii) defined below.(i) the hysteresis ratio (h.sub.50) is greater than 0.3 at 50% tensile deformation at 25.degree. C.(ii) the storage modulus (E) measured dynamically at a frequency of 5 Hz, a strain of 0.01%, and a temperature of 25.degree. C. is in the range of 1.ltoreq.E.ltoreq.2.times.10.sup.4 (kg/cm.sup.2).

摘要： An anti-seismic rubber is made by laminating a plurality of rigid plates and flexible plates having viscoelastic properties alternatively. At least one of the flexible plates A has elasticity, i.e. magnitude of the stress corresponding to an arbitrary strain in a stress-strain curve, lower than the elasticity of other flexible plates B in a low strain zone, and in a high strain zone, elasticity of the flexible plate A is higher than the elasticity of the flexible plate B.

摘要： There is provided an anti-seismic rubber bearing made up of a laminate structure formed by bonding a plurality of rigid plates having stiffness properties and a plurality of flexible plates having viscoelastic properties each other alternately, and flanges each attached to the upper and lower surfaces of the laminate structure, characterized by that the local strain is evenly distributed throughout the structure by lowering the local strain which occurs near the flanges.
