摘要： A halogen-containing polyester resin composition comprises a flame retardant aromatic polyester copolymer having a halogen content of 0.5 to 30 wt. %, obtained by poly-condensating(A) mainly aromatic dicarboxylic acids or ester-forming derivatives thereof;(B) mainly aliphatic glycols or ester-forming derivatives thereof; and(C) halogen-containing ester-forming compounds, and 0.1 to 10 wt. %, based, on the entire composition of a bisaziridine compound. The composition is useful to coat an electric wire therewith.

摘要： A halogen-containing polyester resin composition having an improved stable flexibility and flame retardency which comprises a bislactam compound and a flame-resisting aromatic polyester copolymers containing halogen at a ratio of 0.5 to 30% by weight, said copolymers being by the poly-condensation of(A) aromatic dicarboxylic acids or ester-forming derivatives thereof;(B) aliphatic glycols or ester-forming derivatives thereof; and(C) halogen-containing ester-forming compounds, said bislactam compound being present in a ratio of 0.1 to 10% by weight based on the total quantity of the composite.

摘要： A process for producing a transparent film includes forming a melt from a copolyester having structural units represented by the following formulas I and II, respectively: ##STR1## wherein R groups may be the same or different from each other are each selected from the group consisting of--CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2, --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 OCH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 --, --CH--CH.sub.2 --, ##STR2## and the molar fraction ratio of the structural units of formula II to the total structural units of formulas I and II is between 0.02 to 0.020, which a melt of the copolyester is formed into a film, rapidly quenched to solidify the copolyester and impart low crystallinity thereto. The solidified film is aged at a temperature of 60 degree centigrade or below, and then heat-treated at a temperature between the glass transition point (Tg) of the copolyester and no greater than 2.degree. C. below the melting point of the copolyester minus 2.

摘要： A transparent polyester container is produced by melt-molding a copolyester resin containing 75 to 98 molar % of repeating units of an ester of terephthalic acid with 1,4-butanediol with the balance mainly containing repeating units of an ester of terephthalic acid with an alkylene oxide adduct of a bisphenol compound, rapidly cooling the molding to prepare a sheet having a low crystallinity, maturing the sheet at a temperature selected so as to meet a requirement represented by the following formula (1) to prepare a sheet satisfying a requirement represented by the following formula (2) and subjecting the sheet to thermoforming through the use of a cavity mold at a temperature falling within a range represented by the following formula (3):______________________________________ Ta .ltoreq.
