摘要: A method and apparatus for resetting a sheet processing device is disclosed in which even if a trouble occurs, a sheet processing can be continued after resetting without wasting the previous processing. In a sheet processing device in which a set of sheets conveyed from an image forming device is discharged to a discharge tray after a predetermined processing process, the processing process is finely divided into plural function units and the function units are individually reset. In a memory device, a status flag indicating the condition of each module unit is assigned to each unit. The presence of a partially performed operation is confirmed by the status flag, and only the function unit having partially performed operation is reset to its initial condition.

摘要: There is disclosed a sheet accumulation processing device in which sheets with images formed thereon are processed as a bunch before the sheet bunch is efficiently sorted and discharged to any one of plural discharge trays. The device comprises a load-carrying device for piling plural sheets; a sheet bunch discharging means for discharging a sheet bunch piled on the load-carrying device via a discharge port; plural discharge trays for storing the sheet bunch discharged by the sheet bunch discharging device; a discharge tray moving device for moving the discharge trays; a tray position detecting device for detecting positions of the discharge trays relative to the discharge port; a sheet presence detecting device for detecting presence of the sheets on the discharge trays; and a control device for selecting the discharge tray to which the sheet bunch is to be discharged based on detection results of the tray position detecting device and the sheet presence detecting device and moving the selected discharge tray by the discharge tray moving device. The control device selects a discharge tray which stores no sheet and is positioned closest to the discharge port as the discharge tray of the sheet bunch, and moves the selected tray to the discharge port, thereby minimizing the operation of moving the tray and shortening a setup time.

摘要: A sheet handling device for accommodating, aligning and storing sheets fed from an image forming apparatus such as a copying machine is provided with front-side and rear-side aligning members for pressing the sheets stacked on a first storage means between the aligning members to stably and exactly align the stacked sheets. The front side aligning member is movable vertically or rotatable to open a sheet transferring passage so as to enable a sheet aligning mechanism in the sheet handling device to be operated in a small space, and thus, made compact. While transferring the aligned sheets from the first storage means to a second storage means, the aligned sheets are stably held by the front-side aligning member being in soft contact with the upper surface of the sheets being transferred.

摘要: A sheet handling apparatus receives a plurality of sheets discharged by a discharge roller pair from an image recording apparatus on a first support member disposed below the discharge roller pair to form a stack of the sheets on the first support member and carries out handling on the stack of sheets. A second support member is supported to be movable back and forth between a projecting position where it is projected over the first support member and is able to support a rear end portion of a sheet discharged by the discharge roller pair with a front end portion of the sheet supported by the first support member and a retracted position where it is retracted from the first support member. A controller controls movement of the second support member.

摘要: Provided are a battery state monitoring circuit and a battery device which are capable of inhibiting discharge without enabling an overdischarge cell balance function when an overcurrent detection circuit detects a discharge overcurrent, without the need for an additional terminal of the battery state monitoring circuit. A detection signal of the overcurrent detection circuit is input to each of a communication terminal for overdischarge signal and a communication terminal for overcharge signal included in the battery state monitoring circuit provided on a side of the overcurrent detection circuit. An overdischarge cell balance circuit outputs a cell balance signal when an overdischarge detection signal indicates an overdischarge non-detected state, an overdischarge signal indicates an overdischarge detected state, and an overcharge signal indicates an overcharge non-detected state.

摘要: Provided is a battery protection circuit and a battery device which may be manufactured at lower cost. Before all terminals of a battery protection circuit are each connected to batteries, even when a logical circuit malfunctions by an operation of a parasitic bipolar transistor formed by P-wells due to a connection order in which the batteries are connected, the logical circuit is reset by an operation of a parasitic bipolar transistor formed by the P-wells. For this reason, a charge/discharge path of the batteries is not interrupted due to the connection order. Accordingly, no limitation is placed on the connection order.

摘要: In order to provide an overheat protection circuit having a small mounting area, the overheat protection circuit includes: a resistor bridge circuit which includes: a plurality of resistors each having a temperature coefficient; an input terminal; and an output terminal; and a comparator circuit connected to the output terminal and the input terminal of the resistor bridge circuit. Parts are each provided in the vicinity of one of the plurality of resistors each having the temperature coefficient, and the comparator circuit outputs an overheat detection signal when a temperature of one of the parts is equal to or higher than an overheat detection temperature. With this structure, a large number of parts can be protected from overheating by a minimum number of overheat protection circuits. Therefore, a circuit scale becomes smaller, and hence a cost for overheat protection becomes lower.
