    摘要: A communication system has a communication controller for multiplexing and transmitting a power supply voltage and an audio signal to be played back by a plurality of channels, and a plurality of communication adapters which start in response to reception of the multiplexed/transmitted power supply voltage, and play back the audio signal using a playback device.     摘要: A method of deciding whether an extension terminal is called or not is provided. The kind of communication is recognized on the basis of a set-up message received from the ISDN. Whether the extension terminal is called or not is decided on the basis of the result of comparison between the kind of the extension terminal and the kind of the communication recognized. There is also provided a private branch exchange comprising: a detector to detect a reception from an analog external line; a digital interface to connect a terminal corresponding to a procedure for a digital line; and a judging circuit to judge whether the terminal corresponds to a procedure for an analog line or not, wherein when the judging circuit decides that the terminal corresponds to the procedure for the analog line when the reception is detected by the detector, the digital interface transmits the set-up message to the terminal.

    摘要: When commonly using a receiving antenna and a transmitting antenna having mutually opposing characteristics, the present invention makes it possible to commonly use the antennas without deteriorating the characteristics of both antennas. In a communication apparatus including both of an RF-ID function circuit 1 to perform contactless communication with an external reader/writer device and a reader/writer function circuit 2 to perform contactless communication with an external RF-ID, there is disposed a common antenna 10 shared therebetween. And, a transmitting and receiving resonance frequency switching circuit 11 is connected in parallel to the common antenna 10; when selecting each function, a resonance frequency is automatically changed by the transmitting and receiving resonance frequency switching circuit 11.

    摘要: A foldable knife includes a handle and a folding blade. The blade is pivotable about an axis between a folded position and an extended position such that a sharp edge enters the handle when it is folded. The knife also includes a mechanism for releasably locking the blade in its extended position and for applying resistance to the blade in its folded position. The mechanism includes a ratchet member having at least two notches formed therein. The ratchet member is connected to the blade. The mechanism also includes a pivotable locking lever for engaging the ratchet member for locking the blade in its extended position and for applying resistance to the blade when the blade is in its folded position. The locking lever has a extending portion that extends from the front edge of the handle so that it may be manually manipulated to disengage the locking lever from the ratchet member to release the blade from its extended position.

    摘要: An image signal coding apparatus includes reference and coding line change point detection circuits, reference line shift registers, a coding line shift register, a symbol detection circuit, coding and reference line ROM tables, and a code determination circuit. The coding line change point detection circuit receives a serial reference line image signal in synchronism with a serial coding line image signal. The reference line shift registers receive serial change point data in the reference line image signal and output parallel reference line change point data. The coding line shift register receives serial change point data in the coding line image signal and outputs parallel coding line change point data. The symbol detection circuit monitors output states of the reference and coding line shift registers. A run length counter counts the number of pixels between the change points in the coding line image signal. The ROM tables cooperate with the code determination circuit to code the coding line image signal in response to outputs from the symbol detection circuit and the run length counter.
