    摘要: A vane compressor has a vane back pressure adjustment device including back-pressure chambers defined in a vane-supporting rotor and surrounded by vanes and side blocks secured to axial ends of a cylinder. The back-pressure chamber has axial ends disposed to follow a path against each of the side blocks when the rotor rotates. The path is divided into at least one high-pressure zone in which the vanes move across a pump outlet defined in the cylinder, and at least one normal-pressure zone which is the remainder of the path. In the normal-pressure zone, oil grooves defined in surfaces of the side blocks which face the rotor and supplied with oil from an oil sump in the vane compressor are in communication with the back-pressure chambers, to thereby maintain the oil pressure in the back-pressure chambers at a pressure level in the oil sump. In the high-pressure zone, the back-pressure chambers are out of communication with the oil grooves so that the oil fed into the back-pressure chambers is confined therein, except through a restrictor means. When the vanes move across the pump outlet, the vanes enter the high-pressure zone to trap oil in the back-pressure chambers to thereby elevate the oil pressure in the back-pressure chambers to a high level. Therefore, the vanes are prevented from being retracted deeply into vane slits in the rotor and then popping out into hitting engagement with the cylinder.

    摘要: A rotor is operatively provided in a bore of a cylinder which is formed with an inlet and an outlet. The cylinder is enclosed by a housing with an annular chamber being defined between the cylinder and the housing. The housing has an inlet which is connected to the inlet of the cylinder. The outlet of the cylinder is provided at an upper portion thereof. An oil sump is defined by a lower portion of the annular chamber of the housing. A partition divides the interior of the housing into the annular chamber within which the cylinder is disposed and an outlet chamber which communicates with an outlet of the housing. The lower portion of the partition is cut away to communicate the annular chamber with the outlet chamber. An oil passageway leads from the oil sump through the rotor to the inlet of the housing in such a manner that oil flows through the oil passageway to lubricate the internal parts of the rotor and is entrained in operating fluid at the inlet of the housing, passing through the cylinder to lubricate areas of sliding contact between the rotor and the inner periphery of the cylinder. The operating fluid and oil expand and change direction in the annular chamber so that the operating fluid passes to the outlet chamber but the entrained oil is precipitated and returns to the oil sump.

    摘要: A sealing chamber is defined between the front head and the front side block, and an oil chamber between the rear side block and a partition member secured to the rear end face of the rear side block, respectively. The drive shaft, on which the rotor is rigidly fitted, is radially supported by a pair of roller bearings provided at the front and rear side blocks. The bearings have end portions remote from the rotor enclosedly disposed in the sealing chamber and the oil chamber. The lubricating oil feeding system includes lubricating oil feeding bores formed in the front and rear side blocks and communicating with a zone under discharge pressure, and clearances between the front and rear side blocks and opposed end faces of the rotor. The clearances have predetermined flow resistance, and communicate, on one hand, with the back pressure chamber formed within the rotor, and on the other hand, with the sealing chamber and the oil chamber by way of the above roller bearings.

    摘要: A rotary compressor has a plurality of vanes which are slidably disposed in radial slots of a rotor to define fluid chambers in cooperation with a cylindrical housing. The radially innermost end of each vane, rotor and opposite ends of the housing define a back-pressure chamber which is supplied with a pressure during a suction stroke for maintaining the associated vane in sealing contact with the inner wall of the housing. Each of opposite ends of the housing has a unique configuration which damps the pressure in the back-pressure chamber when the chamber is fluidly isolated from a source of the pressure supply during a compression stroke, thereby eliminating excessive friction between the vane and the housing.
