摘要： A method for calibrating a feeder for a surface mounting device (SMD) includes the steps of: reading a standard coordinate value; setting controlling parameters including a predefined amount of materials to be delivered and a predefined range of a coordinate deviation; booting the feeder (22) to deliver materials via an operation controller (20); capturing delivered material images of the materials and gear images of the feeder via an image controller (24); calculating coordinate deviations of the captured images; analyzing whether a total delivered amount of the materials is equal to the predefined amount; and calibrating the feeder according to the calculated coordinate deviations if the total delivered amount of the materials is equal to the predefined amount. A system for calibrating a feeder for a surface mounting device (SMD) is also disclosed.

摘要： The structure for symmetrically disposed linear motor operated tool machine comprises two parallelly erected sustaining walls, a movable gantry, a sliding saddle, a tool spindle, and a weight compensation device. At both sides of the movable gantry between the sustaining walls, between the gantry and the sliding saddle, and between the tool spindle and the sliding saddle, a pair of linear motors is symmetrically disposed such that the armature reaction between the winding and magnet is compensated each other by the opposite one therefore any possible deformation force to the tool machine structure is eliminated.

A tool change is performed after fastening the positioning shaft in the hole. The invention is also applicable to EDM.

摘要： An apparatus for feeding components from a packaged component band includes a stand defining a platform allowing the packaged component band passing therealong, a first guiding unit installable to the stand beside the platform, and a second guiding unit installable to the stand next to the another end of the platform. The first guiding unit is urged to remove a package from the packaged component band to expose components at one end of the platform and guides the package toward another end of the platform. The second guiding unit accepts the package from the first guiding unit and accelerates movement of the package passing therethrough. The second guiding unit includes a first friction pulley urged to rotate, and a second friction pulley rotatably movable together with the first friction pulley and engagable with the package when the package engagably passes therethrough.
