摘要:
An optical connector includes a fiber holder to hold optical fibers; a housing to accommodate the optical fibers and the fiber holder; and a thermally driven actuator to displace at least a part of the fiber holder upon application of heat from a first position at which the fiber holder is retracted inside the housing to a second position that allows the optical fibers to be optically coupled to a counterpart connector.

An optical connector includes: a holding member that holds an optical transmission line; a lens member that has a lens; a concavo-convex structure provided between the holding member and the lens member; and a moving member that moves the concavo-convex structure between a first state where a protrusion and a recess of the concavo-convex structure are engaged with each other and a second state where a gap is formed between the protrusion and the recess.

An optical connector includes a fiber holder with guide holes for guiding optical fibers, a space communicating with the guide holes and to accommodate the optical fibers, and a deformable member that forms at least a part of the fiber holder and causes the space to deform or displace to allow a part or all of the optical fibers to bend in the space.

A chip-like printed antenna in which an open end is formed by at least two antenna conductors separated from each other is mounted on a printed-circuit board. A ground required by one or plural other modules is disposed and mounted on the printed-circuit board so as to surround a remaining area of a surrounding area of the printed antenna except a partial area as indicated by oblique line parts. By this, in the printed-circuit board , a radiation electric field does not come to have a dipole mode, but is formed into a balloon shape and is radiated in one direction as indicated by a broken line.

A PDA includes a printed-circuit board on which at least one printed antenna pair having two chip-like printed antennas, which receive linearly polarized signals and are disposed along axes orthogonal to each other, is mounted. In each of the printed antennas, an open end is formed of at least two antenna conductors separated from each other. Besides, in the printed-circuit board, a ground required by one or plural other modules is disposed so as to surround a surrounding area of at least three sides of four sides forming a rectangular section in each of the printed antennas, and each of the printed antennas is disposed and mounted so that a remaining one side faces an edge portion of the printed-circuit board. While the PDA can receive circularly polarized signals very effectively, the degree of freedom in layout is greatly expanded and miniaturization can be realized.
