A method and apparatus for processing image information coming from various types of image inputting media yields an image processor for processing image information that consolidates image size irrespective of the type of image inputting medium. The apparatus is provided with a plurality of image inputting media, each of which inputs image information as a first image information having a fixed image size. An image size converter converts the fixed image size to a predetermined image size which is a constant image size independent of both the fixed image size and the type of image inputting medium that inputs the first image information. The conversion generates a second image information and a data generator generates conditional data for processing the second image information. An image processor processes the second image information using predetermined image processing procedures, based on the conditional data, to generate a third image information.

There is described a system for producing prints, which includes inputting device to input image data and information corresponding to the image data, a selector to select either a first mode or a second mode and a printer to print images on a recording medium. In the first mode, the system performs inputting operation of the image data and information corresponding to the image data in addition to a print producing operation. While in the second mode, the system performs the print producing operation on the basis of the image data and information corresponding to the image data, which are stored in a memory during the first mode.

In a color image recording apparatus provided with plural print heads and a conveyor, each print head includes a plurality of recording elements aligned along at least a single line in a primary scanning direction and the plural print heads are arranged in parallel to each other in the primary scanning direction so that plural component images of the color image are formed parallel respectively by the plural print heads. A reference component image forming device controls the plural pieces of print heads so as to form and superimpose plural reference component images based on the reference component image data and timing setting values. A timing correcting unit analyzes positional deviations in the secondary scanning direction among the plural superimposed reference component images and corrects the timing setting values on the basis of the positional deviations in the secondary scanning direction.

When a rotary solenoid (7) is supplied with electric power, a piston (4) within a cylinder (2) is moved up, and thereby air is jetted through a nozzle (9) of a head (3) toward an eye (H) of a subject. At the same time, infrared rays are projected onto the eye (H) from a light source (11). Reflected light from a cornea of the eye (H) is received by a light receiving sensor (12). A signal generated by the light receiving sensor (12) is transmitted to a control circuit (16) via a flat-state detecting circuit (13). As a result, the intraocular pressure of the eye (H) is measured. The noncontact tonometer further includes two condensers (17, 18). A command from the control circuit (16) is input to a condenser switching portion (20) by operating a driving switch (21). Thereby, one of the condensers (17, 18) is selected to supply the rotary solenoid (7) with the electric power.

The device includes a dissolving tank for storing a dissolved solution therein, and a processing solution supplier provided between the processing tank and the dissolving tank independent of the circulating path, which supplies the processing solution from the processing tank to the dissolving tank. The device further includes a replenisher to replenish the dissolved solution from the dissolving tank to the processing tank. The dissolving tank and the processing tank are communicated through another circulating path.
