摘要： A tape cassette that includes a box-shaped cassette case whose outline being defined by a bottom wall, a top wall, and a side wall and including a plurality of corner portions, at least one tape contained within a tape containment area defined within the outline, a pair of cavities extending from the bottom wall and being provided between the tape containment area and the outline at opposite ends of a diagonal line connecting one of the corner portions to another of the corner portions, and a side face indicator portion provided in the side wall, indicating a type of the tape, and including a plurality of indicator portions disposed in a pattern in accordance with the type of the tape, each of the indicator portions being one of a switch hole and a surface portion.

摘要： A tape cassette includes a tape ejecting port for ejecting outside the tape with a separator being adhered to one of surfaces thereof, a tape conveying roller arranged at an upstream side of a tape conveying direction at the tape ejecting port, the tape conveying roller conveying roller pulling out and conveying the tape while getting in contact with the separator being adhered to one surface of the tape, a separator guiding portion for guiding the separator peeled off from the tape inwardly at the tape ejecting port along a peripheral surface of the tape conveying roller and a separator-take-up spool arranged so as to fix thereto a front end of the separator that has been guided inwardly along the peripheral surface of the tape conveying roller from the separator guiding portion and to take up the separator.

摘要： An object of the disclosure is to provide a print cassette for producing a print tape comprising a structure which can avoid a bad effect on a feeding performance of a film tape in the print cassette and handling of a print tape when stuck to an adherend even when an adopted to-be-printed medium is a thin-film. A print tape 5 produced in a print cassette is composed of a first tape 11 and a second tape 13. In the first tape 11, a first base material 31 and a to-be-printed medium 33 are stacked via a first adhesive layer 32. In the second tape 13, a second adhesive layer 51 is stacked to a second base material 52. Then, a printing surface 11A of the first tape 11 on which ink 41 is put and the second adhesive layer 51 are overlapped with each other, so that the second tape 13 adhered to the first tape 11 to compose the print tape 5.

摘要： A tape printer includes a tape cassette including a housing, a cassette housing portion, a feeding device, a printing device, a plurality of detecting switches that protrude toward a side surface of the housing of the tape cassette installed in the cassette housing portion, a first determining device that, if a part of the detecting switches is pressed, determines that the tape cassette is installed, and a second determining device that, if a specific detecting switch among the detecting switches is pressed, determines that the tape cassette is not installed at a proper position. The tape cassette includes a first pressing portion that, if the tape cassette is installed at the proper position, presses a part of the detecting switches, and a second pressing portion that, if the tape cassette is not installed at the proper position, presses the specific detecting switch.

摘要： A tape cassette that includes a box-like housing having a front wall, a top surface and a bottom surface, a wound tape mounted within the housing, a tape guide, and an indicator of the tape type formed in the front wall. The housing directs the tape along a path to an exit, and at least a portion of the path extends parallel to the front wall. The tape guide is spaced downstream of the exit, whereby a section of tape is exposed between the exit and the tape guide. The indicator is formed in the front wall proximal to the exposed section of tape, and includes at least one aperture that extends generally parallel to the top and bottom surfaces and perpendicular to the portion of the path extending parallel to the front wall.
