摘要: A method and apparatus for transferring an image of predetermined length onto a substrate by selective energization of a row of printing elements in a printhead of a printing apparatus. Operational characteristics of the printing apparatus are determined, and the image is rendered such that the number of rows of the pixels in the rendered image is no greater than the maximum number of rows of pixels which can be printed in the length of the image given the operational characteristics of the printing apparatus. Additional rows of pixels may be printed between pairs of rows of printed which correspond to consecutive rows in the rendered image. The pixel content of each additional row is a function of the pixel content of the adjacent pairs of rows.

摘要: Disclosed herein are polyamine transport inhibitors (PTI) and methods of use as antivirals. Disclosed PTI compounds are useful as treatments for viral infections or can be used as prophylactic agents that protect high risk individuals from becoming infected by the virus. The disclosed PTI compounds can be used alone or in combination with other agents (or other antivirals) to improve patient outcomes such as DFMO (or Remdesivir).

摘要: Novel compounds are described which decrease the intracellular levels of leucine and methionine. Treatment with these amino acid depletion agents affects many metabolic and life processes which rely upon methionine, leucine and their derivatives. Methionine depletion not only inhibits protein synthesis, but also polyamine biosynthesis and significantly reduces intracellular pools of the native polyamines, spermidine and spermine. Since methionine restriction has been shown to mimic caloric restriction in life extension studies across multiple species, these compounds are also expected to extend lifespan by limiting methionine supply.
