摘要： A method for transferring data, by establishing network links between a private and a public network. Each link is associated with a respective unique public-network-address. Each session of one or more data packets within the private network is allocated an extended-private-address, the private network being adapted to transfer each data packet in a respective session using at least part of the extended-private-address as an identifying private-network-address. For each session the extended-private-address is translated to an extended-public-address, which includes one of the unique public-network-addresses. The data packets of each session are conveyed between the private and public networks via the link associated with the public-network-address of the respective session, and are transmitted within the public network using at least part of the extended-public-address as an identifying public-network-address.

摘要： A method for sending a secure message within a communications network which operates a short message service (SMS) according to an SMS protocol. The method consists of transmitting an SMS message of a predefined type from a mobile transceiver over the network, receiving the SMS message at an SMS receiver, and transmitting an authorization request, responsive to the SMS message and the predefined type, from the SMS receiver to the mobile transceiver. The method further includes receiving the authorization request at the mobile transceiver, transmitting a pre-determined confirmation code from the mobile transceiver responsive to the authorization request, and forwarding the SMS message from the SMS receiver to a message destination responsive to receipt of the confirmation code at the SMS receiver.

摘要： A method for dialing a telephone number indirectly, including obtaining an alphanumeric identifier that is assigned to a telephone subscriber and associating the identifier with a destination telephone number of the telephone subscriber to form a mapping therebetween. The method further includes storing the mapping in a lookup table, dialing the identifier using an originating telephone, using the identifier as a pointer to the lookup table so as to recover the destination telephone number from the stored mapping, and establishing a connection between the originating telephone and a destination telephone via the destination telephone number.
