    摘要: A universal serial bus (USB) device communicates with a USB host over a USB to remotely wake up the USB host over the USB when the USB host is in a low power (e.g. deep sleep) mode. The USB device performs an activity to wake up the USB host. The USB host performs a remote wake up process in response to detecting the activity by the USB device. The USB host performs a resume process in response to performing the remote wake up process by the USB host. The USB device wakes up in response to the USB host performing the resume process.

    摘要: A method for transmitting data in a code division multiple access (CDMA) communication network, consisting of allocating a common Walsh code to a group of transceivers, and allocating a respective, different long code to each transceiver in the group. The method further includes time-multiplexing transmission of the data to the transceivers in the group by applying the common Walsh code and the respective long code of each transceiver to data packets directed to the transceivers so as to form multiplexed data packets. The multiplexed data packets are transmitted in sequence over the network to the group of transceivers.

    摘要: Disclosed are apparatus and methods for use in a USB device with multiple processors, allowing shared USB connectivity in the device. The disclosed apparatus and methods allow selective coupling of a first processor to a USB port of the device or to a USB hub operable to route a plurality of USB connections including connection of a second processor to the port. Providing selective coupling of the processors to the port by switching the coupling of the first processor and selectively powering the hub on and off for selective coupling of the second processor, thereby selectively enabling tethered networking such as wireless networking, affords increased power savings in the device. Furthermore, default coupling of the first processor to the port allows for USB battery charger detection, or direct connectivity to USB peripheral devices, as well as providing programming capability via the default coupling of the port to the first processor.

    摘要: A method for transferring data, by establishing network links between a private and a public network. Each link is associated with a respective unique public-network-address. Each session of one or more data packets within the private network is allocated an extended-private-address, the private network being adapted to transfer each data packet in a respective session using at least part of the extended-private-address as an identifying private-network-address. For each session the extended-private-address is translated to an extended-public-address, which includes one of the unique public-network-addresses. The data packets of each session are conveyed between the private and public networks via the link associated with the public-network-address of the respective session, and are transmitted within the public network using at least part of the extended-public-address as an identifying public-network-address.

    摘要: A method for performing a soft handoff, including establishing a first control channel via a network between a first BSC and a first BTS. The method also includes establishing a second control channel via the network between a second BSC and a second BTS. A call between a mobile station (MS) and the first BTS is established, and while the call continues an indication is sent to the first BSC that the MS has received a signal from the second BTS. In response to the indication, a trigger is conveyed from the first BSC to the second BTS, and, in response to receiving the trigger at the second BTS, further traffic associated with the call is directed between the MS, the second BTS, and the first BSC, without conveying the further traffic through the second BSC.
