摘要： A method is provided for determining exhaust mass flow through a diesel particulate filter (DPF) in an engine arrangement including an engine and an exhaust after treatment system (EATS) comprising the DPF. The method comprises determining soot loading and soot distribution in the DPF, measuring pressure drop over the DPF, measuring pressure in the DPF, measuring temperature in the DPF, and determining exhaust mass flow through the DPF as a function of the measured pressure drop, the measured pressure, the measured temperature, and the soot loading and soot distribution. An arrangement is also provided for determining exhaust mass flow through a diesel particulate filter. A method for controlling one or more engine components, and an engine, are also provided.

摘要： An exhaust emissions monitoring device includes a pipe adapted to mount to the tailpipe of a vehicle and includes a cable for connecting to the vehicle engine control unit (ECU) and power system. The pipe defines an internal flow passage to allow exhaust to flow through. A plurality of sensors is mounted on the pipe and each sensor extends through an access port formed on the pipe wall to be exposed to the internal flow passage. Exhaust properties and constituents are sensed by multiple sensors for each constituent, there are two or more sensors for each of NOx, temperature, ammonia, particulate matter. The sensors communicate data signals to a processor/data logger also mounted on the pipe.

摘要： A fuel additive cartridge for use with a dimethyl-ether fuel system of a vehicle includes a reservoir for storing and dispensing a liquid fuel additive into a flow of fuel in a fill conduit during refueling. The cartridge also includes a dispenser actuated by the fuel flow to selectively dispense the liquid fuel additive from the reservoir. The fuel additive cartridge is intended to attach to a dimethyl-ether fuel system at a location between a fueling inlet connector and a storage tank to facilitate a metered mixing of liquid fuel additive from the cartridge and dimethyl-ether during the re-fueling of the storage tank.
