Abstract: A device may receive CNF data identifying a CNF to be deployed in a network. The device may perform multiple levels of validation associated with deploying the CNF. The device may determine, based on performing the multiple levels of validation, whether one or more issues are associated with deploying the CNF in the network. The one or more issues may include one or more of: a connectivity issue, a package issue, a network functions virtualization orchestrator (NFVO) issue, or a network functions virtualization infrastructure (NFVI) issue. The device may perform one or more actions based on determining whether the one or more issues are associated with the deploying the CNF in the network.

Abstract: In some implementations, an orchestration system may receive information regarding a containerized network function (CNF) to be deployed. The orchestration system may obtain deployment information regarding requirements for deploying the CNF, wherein the requirements include one or more of a computing requirement, a memory requirement, or a network connectivity requirement. The orchestration system may provide a request to obtain one or more recommendations regarding one or more schedulers configured to deploy CNFs associated with the requirements. The orchestration system may obtain the one or more recommendations regarding the one or more schedulers based on providing the request. The orchestration system may provide scheduler information regarding the one or more schedulers to a container management system, wherein the scheduler information is provided to cause the container management system to use the one or more schedulers to deploy the CNF on one or more computing nodes that comply with the requirements.

The application information may include requirement information including information defining a compute requirement of the application, a storage requirement of the application, and a network connectivity requirement of the application, and first capability information identifying requested capabilities of the first set of devices. The device may receive second capability information identifying actual capabilities of the second set of devices. The device may compare the first capability information and the second capability information to determine a measure of similarity between the first capability information and the second capability information. The device may generate deployment information for deploying the application on a device, of the second set of devices, based on the measure of similarity.
