摘要： Method and apparatus for guiding a web of paper or board or, alternatively, an edge strip sheared therefrom, in a paper machine or finishing equipment, the method being particularly suited for threading the web tail or edge strip through the machine in conjunction with a production shutdown or after a web break. According to the invention, the web (6) or its tail sheared from the web so as to form an edge strip is supported electrically by means of taking surfaces or electrodes (3, 5) disposed on opposite sides of the web (6) to different potentials. Particularly advantageously, the web (6) or the edge strip can be adhered to a roll (16), a belt (7) or a wire by taking said support element to a lower potential and disposing a higher-potential electrode (5) or a number of electrodes to the opposite side of the web.

摘要： A device in a finishing machine for paper is arranged to guide a paper web along a predetermined path. The traction device (2) engages a tail of the web or an auxiliary member (6) for transferring the tail of the web. The device has power transmission of its own by means of which is moves in relation to a guide (1) extending in the machine direction. The traction device moves in relation to the guide by friction contact of one or several drive wheels (3) with the guide (1). The friction contact plane of the guide (1) curves in directions perpendicular thereto in accordance with the travel path of the paper web.

At the end of the finishing stage (12, 13) there is a draw point (24), through which a carrier rope system (17) included in the tail threading equipment (15) is adapted to pass. The draw point (24) is formed between one cylinder (28) and a wire (29) arranged in contact with it for forming a single-contact draw point.

A tail is formed from a paper web and is taken through the finishing stages (12, 13) and then spread to the full width. Prior to starting the tail threading procedure of the following finishing stage (12, 13) this finishing stage (12, 13) is set to the production settings while the paper web is spread in its full width. The invention also relates to an arrangement in the on-line finishing of the paper machine.

摘要： A threading device and a method for threading a tail of a web, wherein, for guiding the path of a tail separated from a full-width web in a paper machine or a paper finishing device, the threading device comprises a suction channel, placed at least partly in a paper machine portion and provided with a reduced pressure for gripping the tail, and transfer means for transferring the suction channel in the portion of the paper machine and simultaneously for releasing the tail to the portion. In the method for threading of the tail, before threading the full-width web through a portion in a paper machine, the tail is separated from the web, the tail is cut, and the tail is conveyed in the portion of the paper machine, after which the full-width web following the tail in a continuous manner is conveyed to the portion, by providing a reduced pressure in a suction channel, by transferring an inlet opening of the suction channel close to the tail separated from the web, by transferring the tail into the suction channel by means of the reduced pressure prevailing therein, and by releasing the tail to the portion of the paper machine by transferring the suction channel and particularly the inlet opening in the direction of the portion of the paper machine.

摘要： A web is threaded in the reeling of a paper or board web, by passing a web tail strip (W) into a reeling nip between a reeling drum (10) and a reel spool (12), on which a web roll is formed. The tail strip (W) is passed into the reeling nip by a suction zone (20) which extends substantially around the entire reeling drum circumference and is (10) in an area where a full-width web runs during reeling, so that the tail strip (w) can be conducted directly along the suction zone (20). The suction zone (20) is placed in the longitudinal direction of the reeling drum (10), i.e. in the width direction of the web.

The threading tail is transferred to the production section (10, 12-14) of the web-forming machine including a draw section (21).
