摘要:
The invention concerns a method and apparatus for indicating a parameter of a transmitted fluid. One embodiment of the invention comprises a fluid source operatively coupled to a conduit for transmitting a fluid from the fluid source. In addition, a sensor detects a parameter of the fluid, such as the percent oxygen content of the fluid. In response to the sensor detecting the parameter of the fluid, an indicator illuminates a portion of the conduit if a predetermined condition, such as a minimum percent oxygen content of the fluid, is satisfied.

A method for providing a primary window overlay includes providing a primary window on a desktop and designating an overlay window. The method further includes implanting the overlay window on the primary window, receiving activity input to the primary window, and maintaining the overlay window on top of the primary window. A system for providing a primary window overlay includes providing a primary window on a desktop, designating an overlay window, implanting the overlay window on the primary window, receiving activity input to the primary window, and maintaining the overlay window and receiving activity input to the overlay window on top of the primary window. A computer readable medium can include computer readable code for executing the method steps.
摘要:
A process for transferring content from one computer resource to another by enabling automatic cutting-and-pasting in a destination first, source second sequence, a user selecting insertion points in the contents of a destination computer resource, followed by the user selecting information elements in a source computer resource, subsequently automatically intercepting transfer of the selected information elements to the destination, determining which intercepted information elements are expressed in a natural language not matching a user-specified natural language, invoking a rule management user interface to allow the user to define an action to be taken, performing the specified language handling actions on the intercepted information elements, and transferring translated information elements to the destination computer resource.
摘要:
Information elements are automatically translated during cutting-and-pasting in a destination first, source second sequence by receiving a user selection of insertion points in the contents of a destination computer resource, then receiving a user selection of one or more information elements, intercepting transfer of the information elements to the destination computer resource, determining which intercepted information elements are expressed in a natural language not matching a user-specified natural language, performing one or more natural language handling actions on the intercepted information elements which do not match the user specified natural language as defined by one or more natural language handling rules, and transferring translated information elements to the destination.

摘要:
Information elements such as text, tables, graphics, and hyperlinks, are intercepted during their transfer from a computer source to a computer destination, such as during a cut-and-paste operation. It is determined if each intercepted information element is expressed in a natural language which matches a user-specified natural language intended for the destination, and if not, one or more natural language handling actions such as translation or isolation of the information elements is performed in order to match the desired destination language. Translated information elements are delivered to the destination, and isolated elements are placed in a data store for later review and/or exchange with other elements.

Methods and arrangements to selectively retrieve Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) messages are contemplated. Embodiments include transformations, code, state machines or other logic to selectively retrieve VoIP messages by storing the VoIP messages, associating one or more descriptors with the VoIP messages, and displaying at least some of the VoIP messages. The display may include one or more of the descriptors associated with the displayed VoIP messages. The embodiments may include receiving a designation of a designated VoIP message from the VoIP messages. The embodiments may include retrieving the designated VoIP message. In some embodiments, the designated VoIP message may be played. In further embodiments, the designated VoIP message may be forwarded. In many embodiments, the descriptors associated with the displayed VoIP messages may consist of values of attributes of the displayed VoIP messages. In several embodiments, the attributes may have been received through a user interface. In some embodiments, the displaying may include receiving a change in state of a mouse button. In many embodiments, the designating may include receiving a change in state of a mouse button while a location of a pointer driven by the mouse is associated with the designated VoIP message.

Methods and arrangements to communicate aurally during a chat conference are contemplated. Embodiments include transformations, code, state machines or other logic to communicate aurally during a chat conference by receiving through a user interface for the chat conference the designation of a participant in the chat conference, receiving through the user interface for the chat conference a command to capture audio, capturing audio, and transmitting the captured audio to the participant based upon the designation of the participant. In some embodiments, a participant may be designated by a mouse click on a name representing the participant. In some embodiments, the command to capture audio may be expressed by holding down a mouse button. In alternate embodiments, the command to capture audio may be expressed by a pop-up menu. In further embodiments, the captured audio may be stored and transmitted to additional participants.

Methods and arrangements to play Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) messages are contemplated. Embodiments include transformations, code, state machines or other logic to play VoIP messages by receiving overlapping VoIP messages from a VoIP conference, placing at least one of the overlapping VoIP messages in a queue, and playing the overlapping VoIP messages one at a time. The playing may include retrieving the overlapping VoIP messages from the queue. The embodiments may include displaying the VoIP messages through a graphical user interface and receiving instructions from a user on the playing of the messages through the graphical user interface. In some further embodiments, the instructions may describe the order for playing the messages. In many further embodiments, the instructions may request the deletion of VoIP messages from the queue without the playing of the VoIP messages.
