    Abstract: Provided is an electronic pen core body including a tip component portion coupled to an axis component portion. At least one end of the axis component portion in an axial direction is made of a material that is harder than a material from which the tip component portion is made. The axis component portion includes a recessed hole and a fitting portion directly or indirectly fitted to a pen pressure detector. The tip component portion includes a tip portion protruding from the one end of the axis component portion in the axial direction, a coupling core portion disposed within the recessed hole and coupled to an inner wall surface of the recessed hole of the axis component portion, and a second ring-shaped end surface that contacts a first ring-shaped end surface of the axis component portion. The first ring-shaped end surface is covered by the second ring-shaped end surface.

    Abstract: An electronic erasing device includes a casing, an erasing portion slidably attached to the casing and having a bottom surface and a side surface that extends from an outer edge of the bottom surface, both the bottom surface and at least a part of the side surface protruding from an end of the casing, and a position indicator including a core body and a pressure detector that detects a pressure applied to the core body, the position indicator outputting a position indication signal indicating an erasure position indicated by the core body and information indicating the pressure. The position indicator is included in the erasing portion and fixed inside the casing such that a tip portion of the core body is positioned away from an outer side of the bottom surface of the erasing portion and the applied pressure is transmitted to the core body.

    Abstract: A learning support system includes: an electronic pen, a writing medium position instruction tool, a position detection apparatus, and a display apparatus. The electronic pen is capable of recording handwriting and transmitting a position instruction signal. The position detection apparatus determines a position of a note provided with the writing medium position instruction tool on a position detection sensor based on a placement position instruction signal from the writing medium position instruction tool, converts coordinates of coordinate information corresponding to handwriting recorded on the note by the electronic pen, and displays an image corresponding to the handwriting recorded on the note on a display terminal and a teacher terminal in a mode recorded on the note. The learning support system enables an educator to determine a situation of a learner to contribute to an increase effectiveness of learning.

    Abstract: A position indicator includes a light emitting element, a resonance circuit including a coil which, in operation, transmits and receives a signal to and from a sensor of a position detection apparatus and a capacitor connected in parallel to the coil, and a signal generation circuit which, in operation, accumulates power of the signal received from the sensor by the resonance circuit and generates a light emission driving controlling signal that drives and controls the light emitting element to emit light based on the accumulated power. The light emitting element is driven and controlled by the light emission driving controlling signal generated by the signal generation circuit to perform light emission control of the light emitting element of the position indicator by the position detection apparatus. The position indicator has a simple configuration and performs light emission control of the light emitting element under control of the position detection apparatus.

    Abstract: A position indicator includes a capacitor having a capacitance that changes in correspondence to a force applied to one end part of a housing. The capacitor is configured by a pressure detecting chip that includes a first electrode and a second electrode disposed opposite to the first electrode with a predetermined distance defined therebetween to have capacitance Cv formed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The capacitance Cv changes when the force applied to the one end part of the housing is transmitted to the first electrode to thereby change a relationship (e.g., the distance) between the two electrodes. A pressure transmitting member having predetermined elasticity is disposed on the first electrode such that the force applied to the one end part of the housing is transmitted to the first electrode of the semiconductor element via the pressure transmitting member.
