    摘要: A modulating check valve and method of operating the modulating check valve adapted for mounting to an inlet of a compressor. The modulating check valve includes a flow section through which fluid flow. The flow section has an intake portal and an outlet portal connected to the inlet of the compressor. A flapper valve is disposed in the flow section to prevent backflow from the outlet portal to the intake portal. An actuator controls the flapper valve allowing the flapper valve to open, close and modulate the fluid flow from the intake portal to the outlet portal of the flow section in response to fluid pressure at an outlet of the compressor.

    摘要: A modulating intake valve having a low internal pressure drop used in conjunction with a gas compressor, including a valve body having a gas inlet and a gas outlet. A self modulating, hemispherical shaped poppet within the valve body moves closer or further from a valve seat to control the gas flow into the inlet and out of the outlet into the gas compressor. The hemispherical poppet valve functions as a check valve to close against the valve seat and prevent flow of gas and oil from the compressor through the valve body and out of the gas inlet. A modulating piston disposed in a cage located between the gas inlet and the gas outlet. A control gas inlet port opens into a passageway to direct control gas to a space between the piston and the cage set to move the piston and hemispherical poppet valve at a given pressure.

    摘要: A back-pressure valve having a lower internal pressure drop used in conjunction with a compressor. The back-pressure valve includes a valve body with a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet wherein the fluid inlet is disposed at an angle of 90 degrees to the fluid outlet. The valve body includes a self-modulating back pressure valve set to open at a given pressure. The self-modulating back pressure valve includes a valve for moving towards and away from a valve seat to allow fluid flow from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet when the valve is spaced from the valve seat. The valve seat forms an orifice. The ratio of the area of the orifice to an area of the fluid flow channel from the valve inlet to the valve outlet of the minimum pressure valve reduces the pressure drop required for the fluid to pass thru the valve.
