摘要: One embodiment of the invention is to provide a pixel unit coupled to a data line, a first scan line, and a second scan line. The pixel unit comprises a first sub-pixel unit and a second sub-pixel unit. The first sub-pixel unit comprises a first switching device coupled to the data line, a first storage capacitor and a first liquid crystal capacitor coupled to the first switching device. The second sub-pixel unit comprises a second switching device coupled to the first switching device, a coupling capacitor, and a second storage capacitor and a second liquid crystal capacitor coupled to the second switching device. The coupling capacitor is coupled between the first and second input/output terminals of the second switching device. The control terminal of the first switching device is coupled to the first scan line. The control terminal of the second switching device is coupled to the second scan line.

摘要: An optical touch panel including a light guide plate, at least one light-emitting element and a plurality of optical sensing elements and a touchscreen using the same are provided. The light guide plate has a plurality of lateral surfaces, a top surface, a bottom surface and a light extraction structure. The light-emitting element provides a light beam entering the light guide plate. The optical sensing elements are disposed under the bottom surface of the light guide plate. Each of the optical sensing elements has a sensing surface not parallel to the bottom surface of the light guide plate. The optical sensing elements are disposed at an illuminated region of the light beam provided by the light-emitting element. By the light extraction structure, a second portion of the light beam entered the light guide plate is scattered to the optical sensing elements from the bottom surface.

摘要: A shift register including a plurality of multi-stage shift register circuits is provided. The mth stage shift register circuit includes a node, a shift register unit and a control circuit. A first control signal, enabled in an mth period, is defined on the node. The shift register unit is controlled by an (m−1)th stage output signal provided by an (m−1)th stage shift register circuit and a clock signal for providing the enabled mth stage output signal in the mth period, and controlled by an (m+1)th stage second control signal provided by an (m+1)th stage shift register circuit for providing a disenabled mth stage output signal in the (m+1)th period. The control circuit, controlled by the clock signal, provides and outputs an mth stage second control signal to the (m−1)th stage shift register circuit according to the mth stage first control signal, wherein m is a natural number greater than 1.

摘要: A touch panel, including a substrate, a first electrode structure, a second electrode structure, and an insulating layer. The first electrode structure includes first electrode units and second electrode units, wherein each first electrode unit extends in a first direction, each second electrode unit extends in a second direction, and the first electrode units interlace the second electrode units. The first electrode structure is configured between the second electrode structure and the substrate. The insulating layer is configured between the first electrode structure and the second electrode structure to electrically insulate the first electrode structure from the second electrode structure. In a first touch mode, the second electrode structure does not perform a touch sensing function, while the first electrode units and the second electrode units are electrically independent respectively and perform the touch sensing function. In a second touch mode, the second electrode structure performs the touch sensing function.

摘要: A touch-sensitive display device has an active display area and a non-active area and includes a touch-sensitive unit, a display unit and a liquid optical adhesive. The touch-sensitive unit has a touch-sensitive region substantially overlapping the active display area, and the display unit is disposed on one side of the touch-sensitive unit. The liquid optical adhesive is disposed between the touch-sensitive unit and the display unit to combine the touch-sensitive unit with the display unit, and an outer edge of the liquid optical adhesive is located in the non-active area of the touch-sensitive display device.

摘要: A touch panel structure and the manufacturing method thereof are disclosed, in which the manufacturing method includes the steps of: providing a bonding layer; and forming a conductive pattern layer on the bonding layer; wherein the conductive pattern layer is composed of at least one first and at least one second major conductors with an insulation layer interposed between the first and the second major conductors. Comparing with the prior art for manufacturing touch panels, the disclosure is advantageous in material cost, production cost, and production yield; moreover, the panel lamination process can be simplified and the touch panel structure can be joined to a planar or curvy panel and facilitate the design of a thinner product.
