摘要: The apparatus for high-intensity focused ultrasound therapy of the present invention usually comprises a ultrasound transducer, an image acquisition device, a driving unit for driving said ultrasound transducer and mechanical drive means for mechanically driving said ultrasound transducer and image acquisition device together. Additionally, this apparatus for high-intensity focused ultrasound therapy further comprises a signal processing unit connected to image acquisition device for receiving and saving the original images of the target area prior to treatment and for receiving and saving the images of the target area in a certain time during high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) treatment and for evaluating the therapeutic effects according to the images of the target area before and after treatment, and a control unit respectively connected to signal processing unit, driving unit and mechanical driving means. When the signal processing unit judges that the therapeutic requirements have been met, the control unit controls the driving unit and mechanical driving means to stop the working of ultrasound transducer and when the signal processing unit judges that the therapeutic requirements have not been met, the control unit controls the driving unit and mechanical driving means to make the ultrasound transducer continue to work.

摘要: The present invention pertains to an ultrasound therapy system and more specifically, to a high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) therapy apparatus guided by image registration and fusion method. The therapy system of the present invention comprises a central control means; an acoustic energy applicator; a mechanical driving and locating means of said acoustic energy applicator; a real-time B-mode ultrasound image guiding device. Further the therapy system of the present invention comprises an immobilization means for body position. By the help of this immobilization means for body position, real-time B-mode ultrasound images can be registered with diagnosis images, and then on the basis of registration, said B-mode ultrasound images are fused with said diagnosis images for guiding said therapy. Comparing to the existed technical solutions in this field, the present invention has effectively solved the difficult problems in high-intensity focused ultrasound therapy and particularly for tumor treatment with a low cost. And it provides a very practical technical solution, which can be easily applied to clinical treatment of tumors.

摘要: This invention provides a MRI guided ultrasound therapy apparatus. It comprises a static field magnet adapted to apply a static magnetic field in an magnetic resonance volume at a predetermined disposition; at least one ultrasound energy applicator adapted to apply energy within an energy application zone at a predetermined disposition; and The mechanical positioning means for moving said ultrasound energy applicator to position the applicator so that the energy application zone intersects said magnetic resonance volume within said region of the subject. In that apparatus, the static field magnet is open at both ends or open at side. The sided open is upward or downward and the mechanical positioning means of this ultrasound energy applicator is close to and is located outside of this sided open. This invention reduces the space limitation for the mechanical positioning means of the ultrasound transducer. Meanwhile, the non-magnetic requirement on the mechanical positioning means become less greatly and particularly the problem of interference from magnetic field produced by working current of the transducer power cord to MRI system can be solved.
