Abstract: A method of producing hydroxy-containing dialkyl peroxides of the formula ##STR1## by either heterogeneously catalytically reducing or homogeneously, non catalytically chemically reducing carbonyl-containing dialkyl peroxides of the formula ##STR2## R, R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are aliphatics.
