    摘要: The invention relates to a thermoplastic moulding compound consisting of:A. at least 95% (wt) of a copolymer consisting of1. 50-95 moles % styrene and/or .alpha.-methylstyrene2. 50-55 moles % unsaturated dicarboxylic anhydrideB. at most 5% (wt) of an phosphite with the general formula of ##STR1## where R represents hydrogen or the residue of an alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, alkaryl or aralkyl, while the R substituents need not to be the same and may contain heteroatoms.It has been found that additions of these phosphites to SMA-containing moulding compounds checks the decomposition of SMA, prevents the moulding compound from getting stuck to the processing equipment and consequently reduces corrosion to a high degree.

    摘要: A reproducible method for the preparation of high molecular weight white poly(tetramethyleneadipamide) nylon 4,6 using moderate temperatures and relatively short reaction times is disclosed. In the method, the prepolymerization step is limited under controlled reaction conditions so that a prepolymer is formed with a very low degree of polymerization, whereby a shorter, commercially viable, after-condensation time is achieved to obtain a high molecular weight final poly-condensation polymer product.

    摘要: The invention relates to a copolyamide for application in films with improved barrier properties. The copolyamide containing tetramethyleneadipamide and tetramethylene-isophtalamide in a ratio between 9:1 and 1:9 and a relative viscosity of at least 2.0, and a process for the production of the copolyamide. Preferably the copolyamide contains a small amount of a compound that induces the formation of networks between the polyamide chains.
