    摘要: Described herein are polyamide polymers having improved glass transition temperatures (“Tg”) and relatively small values of Tm−Tg, where Tm is the melting temperature of the polyamide polymer. The polyamide polymers are semi-aromatic, semi-crystalline polyamide polymers that include recurring units formed the polycondensation of (1) a linear aliphatic diamine and a cycloaliphatic diamine with (2) an aromatic dicarboxylic acid. Due at least in part to the improved Tg, the polyamide polymers can be desirably incorporated into application settings including, but not limited to, mobile electronic devices, automotive, aerospace, building and construction, oil and gas, industrial, electrical and electronics, consumer goods, medical and healthcare. Furthermore, the polyamide polymers have relatively small values of Tm−Tg and, therefore, articles including the polyamide polymers can be more efficiently produced due to relatively small cycle times.

    摘要: Provided is a polyamide resin composition that, at high temperatures, suppresses reductions in tensile strength due to the addition of a copper-based heat-resistance stabilizer, and maintains a tensile strength over longer periods of time in a hot environment. The composition includes a polyamide resin and a copper-based heat-resistance stabilizer. The polyamide resin includes: a component unit (a) derived from dicarboxylic acid which is derived from an aromatic dicarboxylic acid or an alicyclic dicarboxylic acid; and greater than or equal to 10 mol % and less than 50 mol % of a component unit (b2), which is derived from 1,3-bis(aminomethyl)cyclohexane, with respect to the total number of moles of a component unit (b) derived from diamine. The content of copper included in the copper-based heat-resistance stabilizer is 0.001 parts by mass to 0.050 parts by mass, inclusive, with respect to 100 total parts by mass of the polyamide resin.

    摘要: The invention relates to the use of a composition comprising at least one semi-crystalline copolyamide A/X1Y in which: —A is a repeat unit obtained from the polycondensation of at least one C6 to C12 lactam, or at least one repeat unit XY obtained from the polycondensation of at least one aliphatic C4 to C18 diamine (X), and of at least one aliphatic C6 to C18, in particular C6 to C12, dicarboxylic acid (Y), —X1Y is a repeat unit obtained from the polycondensation of a diamine (X1) chosen from an arylamine, a cycloaliphatic diamine and a branched aliphatic diamine and of at least one aliphatic dicarboxylic acid (Y) identical to that of the unit XY, the A/X1Y weight ratio being from 60/40 to 95/5, glass fibres having a circular cross section, and optionally at least one impact modifier and/or at least one additive, for limiting warping while at the same time maintaining the cycle time of the obtained composition suitable for processing thereof, in particular by injection moulding.
