    摘要: The present invention provides a container suitable for the packaging and storage in separate compartments of at least two products, which need to be combined to prepare a ready-to-use product, such as a ready-to-eat food product. When the preparation of the ready-to-use product is desired, the container of the present invention allows to easily combine the contents of said compartments and to evacuate the combined products from the container through a closable opening without dislodging any one of the compartments from one another. In case the container is used to package and store components of a ready-to-eat food product, it is preferred that the design of the container allows for the practical consumption of the prepared ready-to-eat food directly from the container.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for identifying and validating plant targets for agrochemicals, comprising the steps of determining gene or protein expression profiles in function of the progression of an essential biological process in a plant subsequent downregulation of expression of said gene or protein in a plant cell. More particularly, the effects of downregulation of the candidate target gene were directly monitored on plants locally infected with a vector mediating viral induced gene suppression in that infected plant area. The invention also relates to isolated plant genes encoding proteins involved in plant growth and development. The invention also relates to plants tolerant to agrochemicals such as herbicides or pesticides.

    摘要: The present invention relates to preparations comprising (arabino)xylan oligosaccharides with average degree of polymerisation between 4 and 10 and average degree of arabinose substitution between 0.15 and 0.35, which beneficially modulate the intestinal flora, such preparation comprising both xylo- and arabinoxylo-oligosaccharides. Preferably, the arabinoxylooligosaccharides are substituted in part by hydroxycinnamic acids and exert antioxidant effects. Furthermore, it is preferred that the preparations according to the present invention have a nitrogen content below 0.16% (w/w) in order to ensure good organoleptic and colour properties, particularly upon heating said preparations. The expression patterns of the promoters according to the invention have been studied in Oryza sativa and some of the promoters displayed specific activity in particular cells, tissues or organs of the plant, while others displayed constitutive expression throughout substantially the whole plant. Some promoters showed weak expression, while others were strongly active.
