    摘要: An explosion-proof electrical apparatus comprises two enclosures containing electrical devices. The enclosures are physically interconnected by a one-piece or two-piece hollow sleeve member which is screwed into threaded holes of the enclosures. A fitting assembly mounted in the sleeve member comprises a hollow feedthrough bushing screwed into the sleeve member, a hollow feedthrough seal member screwed into the feedthrough bushing, and a plurality of conductors extending through the feedthrough seal member and electrically connected to the electrical devices. The conductors are embedded in sealing compound which occupies the feedthrough seal member. During assembly of the fitting assembly, the feedthrough seal member is positioned within the sleeve, and the feedthrough bushing is screwed along the feedthrough seal member and is simultaneously screwed into the sleeve.

    摘要: An explosion absorbing apparatus for use with circuit breakers mounted in an explosion-proof panelboard enclosure includes force absorbing plates and rods for attaching the plates to the side panels of circuit breakers. The fastener members draw the force absorbing plates together against the side panels of the circuit breakers to absorb the stress generated by an explosion inside the panelboard enclosure. This apparatus ensures the integrity of circuit breakers contained within a panelboard enclosure during an explosion. The force absorbing plates eliminate catastrophic destruction of the circuit breakers and reduce the cumulative explosion pressure in the panelboard enclosure.

    摘要: An improved air conditioner system for controlling a desired temperature and a reduced humidity level in a space to be environmentally controlled, that comprises an additional second heat exchanger and third heat exchanger in the separate indoor air flow path. The refrigerant circuit includes an anti-migration control device between the compressor and the second heat exchanger. An anti-floodback control device is located upstream of the compressor between the first heat exchanger in the indoor air path and the compressor. An expansion control device is also located in the refrigerant circuit between the heat exchanger in the outdoor air flow path and the heat exchanger in the indoor air flow path. The second heat exchanger effectively becomes a hot gas re-heat de-superheater heat exchanger and the third heat exchanger improves the efficiency by providing additional sub-cooling. The system enhances the latent capacity for providing dehumidified air of from 25–40 percent.
