    Abstract: A wearable device and a method of operating the same are provided. The wearable device includes a shoe assembly, a plurality of pressure sensors, a processing circuit and an alarm module. The plurality of pressure sensors are disposed on the shoe assembly and configured to generate a plurality of pressure sensing values. The processing circuit is configured to calculate a center of gravity coordinate according to the plurality of pressure sensing values and coordinates of the plurality of pressure sensors, and generate a determination result according to the center of gravity coordinate. The alarm module is configured to output an alarm signal to perform an alarm function.

    Abstract: A live facial recognition method includes projecting a given pattern to a subject under recognition; capturing a reflected pattern of the subject under recognition; and detecting whether the subject under recognition is a flat surface according to the reflected pattern.     Abstract: A light emission control method is adapted to a direct-lit LED backlight display. The display includes a backlight module, a driving circuit, a detection circuit, and a control circuit. The backlight module includes a first light emission group and a second light emission group. The first light emission group includes a plurality of first LEDs, and the second light emission group includes a plurality of second LEDs. The first LEDs and the second LEDs are in an interleaved arrangement. The driving circuit is activated to selectively drive the first light emission group and the second light emission group to emit light. On detection of an abnormal light-emission status of any of the plurality of LEDs, the detection circuit sends an abnormal signal. The control circuit obtains a shut-down group according to the abnormal signal and actives the driving circuit not to drive the shut-down group to emit light.

    Abstract: A light emission control method is adapted to a direct-lit LED backlight display. The display includes a backlight module, a driving circuit, a detection circuit, and a control circuit. The backlight module includes a first light emission group and a second light emission group. The first light emission group includes a plurality of first LEDs, and the second light emission group includes a plurality of second LEDs.     Abstract: A live facial recognition method includes capturing a plurality of images of a face of a subject under recognition; obtaining time-varying data according to the images, the time-varying data representing a periodic variation of facial color of the subject under recognition due to facial vasoconstriction and vasodilation caused by heartbeat; and comparing the time-varying data with a predetermined frequency range. The subject under recognition is determined to be a living subject when the time-varying data is within the predetermined frequency range.

The location detector is configured to detect a location of the force receiving component in the closed trajectory and to output a location signal.
