    摘要: A fuel-operated vehicle heater especially of the type intended as an auxiliary or additional vehicle heater and which has a nozzle sitting on a nozzle holder to which fuel is fed from a fuel line by a filter, a fuel pump and an interposed solenoid valve. In a preferred embodiment heater, the nozzle holder, fuel pump, filter and solenoid valve form a subassembly that can be handled as a single unit. Advantageously, this subassembly can be fastened by screws to a flange within a housing part of the heater. On this flange can also be fastened an ignition spark emitter an a central connecting device, such as a burner motor. Advantageously, the feed line and/or the return line for the fuel supply are formed in the flange.

    摘要: A connecting device for supplying power to equipment in heating devices, particularly, auxiliary vehicle heating devices, which connecting device serves to commonly and centrally supply a combustion motor, a control device, a circulating pump, a solenoid valve, an ignition spark unit, a flame monitoring device, and, if utilized, a preheating device for a burner nozzle assembly. All connections and connecting devices, like plug connectors, are housed and combined in a common, central connecting component which can be secured on a flange of the heating device, and can be attached to a part of the heater housing. Appropriately, the connecting component is designed in the form of a housing and contains the electrical connections to be actuated in the form of printed circuit boards, or the like. In order to avoid connection errors and in order to achieve a low-loss connection, the plug connectors for the devices to be connected are arranged as close as possible to the respective device to be connected; also, a plug connector is provided at the peripheral surface of the connecting component that is accessible via an opening in the flange, which connector is intended for the connection of an external power supply such as that of a vehicle.

    摘要: An ignition spark emitter for a fuel operated heating device has two electrodes which are addressed by a transformer and deliver ignition sparks. The ignition electrodes are secured at a housing of the ignition spark emitter which also contains the transformer and the power supply unit of the ignition spark emitter. A plug connector, which preferably, is disposed in the form of a plug-in unit is provided at the housing of the ignition spark emitter, and not only establishes the electrical connection of the ignition spark emitter, but also serves for its mounting, preferably, in proximity of the nozzle assembly of the burner. One of the ignition electrodes, in connection with a ground circuit, can be utilized for ionization flame monitoring via the combustion tube of the heating device, whereby the ionization flame monitor appropriatelylame monitoring via the combustion tube of the heating device, whereby the ionization flame monitor appropriately is operated in a time multiplex manner. An evaluation device, whose output signal is transmitted for ionization flame monitoring via the plug connector for further processing, is also disposed in the emitter housing.

    摘要: The invention relates to motor vehicle heating device with a burner, to which combustion air is supplied via combustion air inlet openings by means of a fan and to which furthermore fuel gas is supplied via a fuel gas supply line, combustion air and fuel gas entering on the intake side of the fan. It is provided according to the invention for a simpler structure and good mixing of the fuel gas/combustion air mixture that entry of fuel gas is controlled by means of a valve or switch controlled by the negative pressure of the fan. Fuel gas is supplied in doing so, preferably, with a negative pressure which is less than atmospheric pressure. For especially simple control of gas supply, there is a membrane which causes the fuel gas supply line to close when the fan stops.

    摘要: A water heater having a burner unit and a combustion chamber from which the combustion gases are discharged and deflected into an annular out-flow space through which they flow along a heat exchanger to an exhaust outlet in the area of the burner unit. The outer casing of the heat exchanger is made of plastic and together with a metal inner casing define a ring-shaped space through which water flows as a liquid heat transfer medium. The outer casing made of plastic is connected with the inner casing made of metal in a gas-tight and pressure-resistant way that is also stable with respect to temperature changes. The result is a reduction in weight of the water heater because of the formation of the outer casing of plastic, and the efficiency of the water heater can be improved by the fact that the losses through heat radiating from the outer casing can be reduced.

    摘要: A fuel supply system for an auxiliary vehicle heating device to which fuel can be supplied via the fuel supply system of an internal combustion engine. A fuel storage reservoir is provided which supplies fuel to an auxiliary vehicle device, and is arranged in the engine compartment of the vehicle. The storage reservoir is filled with fuel in a batchwise manner from any vehicle-contained fuel supply source, preferably via an elongated slot opening into a fuel receiving space of the reservoir from a fuel line that is in bypassing relationship to the reservoir. The fuel storage reservoir has a ventilating value leading to the atmosphere. In accordance with one aspect of the inventive concept, the fuel storage reservoir can receive a fuel pump which forwards the fuel from the fuel storage reservoir to the auxiliary heating device, so that the pump and reservoir form a single-part unit. If desired, draining devices and/or heating units can be provided in the fuel storage reservoir in order to ensure a reliable operation of the auxiliary heating device, even at low temperatures.
