摘要： A fuse device for a mortar shell includes an impact weight carrying a detonation charge and arranged to impact against a firing pin when the mortar shell strikes a target. A safety arm locks the impact weight against movement toward the firing pin in a safety position. The safety arm is movable out of locking relationship with the impact arm to establish an armed condition of the fuse device. Energy for moving the safety arm is stored in a spring. That energy is stored after the mortar shell has been launched, because an impeller is rotated by an air flow generated by the moving mortar shell, and that impeller rotation is transmitted to the spring to store energy.

摘要： A safety and arming device (10) for a spinning projectile fuze, which has a fuze housing (12), which is in the form of a pot, and a bearing body (14) with a booster charge (16). A spherical rotor (42) with a detonator (44) is mounted between the fuze housing (12) and the bearing body (14). A radial groove (22) is formed in the fuze housing (12), and an annular groove (46) is formed in the rotor (42). A holding ring (28) is forced against the annular groove (46), which is axially offset with respect to the radial groove (22), when the safety and arming device (10) is in the safe position. The holding ring (28) is designed with a separating slot (30) and a further, shorter slot (32). The separating slot (30) and the further slot (32) extend at the same distance apart in the circumferential direction of the holding ring (28) and define annular segment jaws (40). The spring device (48) has a pair of cup springs (58), which jointly form a horizontal V-shaped spring profile.

摘要： An energy supply device for a mortar fuse includes a housing, a driven rotary shaft including a cylindrical shaft surface rotatably disposed in a stationary cylindrical bearing surface in the housing, and a fan connected to the shaft for rotating the shaft in a single direction of rotation in a speed range of 30,000-50,000 rpm. Either of the cylindrical bearing surface or the cylindrical shaft surface has a destructible coating of polytetrafluoroethylene, the coating having a thickness in the range of 0.02-0.03 mm, and being destructible in response to rotation of the shaft in the speed range for a period of time no longer than 5 minutes.

摘要： A fuze for a projectile has a firing assembly for firing a main charge of the projectile and a delay detonator for firing the firing assembly after a delay time which is defined by a burning distance of a delay charge. The delay detonator has a housing with a fuze half in which it is fired and a detonator half which contains a detonator charge for firing the firing assembly. In order to prevent the projectile from misfiring as a result of premature detonation of the delay detonator, the housing has a relief opening in the fuze half, with an opening cross section that can be passed through freely in the firing state of the delay detonator.

摘要： An activatable battery for an electronic artillery fuse and mortar fuse includes an ampoule filled with an electrolyte, and an activation device for rupturing the ampoule. In order to evaluate the duration of a mechanical impulse acting on the battery, the activation device can be freed by a timing member having an inertia body which is axially and rotatably displaceable and against which a compression spring is operative. A compact structure and reliable installation of the ampoule in the battery is achieved in that the battery has an upper battery portion and a lower battery portion, the activation device is provided in the upper battery portion and the ampoule is disposed immovably in the lower battery portion.
