    摘要: Provided are a method and apparatus for compensating an attitude of an inertial navigation system and a method and apparatus for calculating a position of the inertial navigation system using the same. The method of compensating an attitude of the inertial navigation system includes sensing movement of the system and outputting information for stoppage time periods and a movement time period of the system; receiving angular velocity information of the system during every time period and calculating a first attitude of the system using the angular velocity information; receiving gravity direction information of the system during the stoppage time periods, calculating a second attitude of the system using the gravity direction information, and calculating an attitude error of the system during every time period using the first attitude and the second attitude; and compensating the attitude error for the first attitude.

    摘要: A motion-based input device includes an inertial sensor acquiring an inertial signal corresponding to a user's motion, a buffer unit buffering the inertial signal at predetermined intervals, a mode classifying unit extracting a feature from the buffered inertial signal and classifying an input mode as either of a continuous state input mode and a symbol input mode based on the extracted feature, and an input processing unit which processes the inertial signal according to the classified input mode to recognize either of a continuous state and a symbol and outputs an input control signal indicating either of the recognized continuous state and symbol. The inertial sensor includes at least one sensor among an acceleration sensor and an angular velocity sensor. The motion-based input device further includes an input button that functions as a switch allowing the user to input a motion.

    摘要: A spatial motion recognition system capable of recognizing motions in three-dimensional space as handwritings on a two-dimensional plane is provided. The system recognizes motions of a system body occurring in space based on position change information of the system body that is detected in a motion detection unit, displays the recognized motion information on a screen, or transmits to an external device the recognized motion information through a transmission/reception unit or a control signal corresponding to the motion information. A control unit produces a virtual handwriting plane having the shortest distances with respect to respective positions in predetermined time intervals based on three-dimensional track information obtained through tracking, and projects the respective positions in the predetermined time intervals onto the virtual handwriting plane to recover the motions in space.

    摘要: An input system based on a three-dimensional inertial navigation system and a trajectory estimation method thereof is disclosed. The input system based on the three-dimensional inertial navigation system according to the present invention has acceleration sensors for outputting acceleration information just before motions, acceleration information on the motions, and acceleration information just after the motions; a rotation angle information estimation-computing portion for estimating rotation angle information on the motions through a predetermined computing process based on the outputted acceleration information just before the motions and acceleration information just after the motions; a conversion-computing unit for calculating position information on the motions based on the estimated rotation angle information on the motions and the outputted acceleration information on the motions; and an optimal plane-computing unit for projecting the position information on the motions onto an optimal plane.

    摘要: An audio generating apparatus includes: a sensor which senses a motion of a predetermined apparatus and generates a sensor signal corresponding to the sensed motion; a motion pattern recognizer which recognizes a motion pattern of the predetermined apparatus based on the sensor signal; and an audio signal generator which generates an audio signal corresponding to the motion pattern. The motion pattern recognizer includes: an analog-to-digital converter which converts the sensor signal into a digital sensor signal; and a motion pattern analyzer which analyzes the motion pattern of the predetermined apparatus based on the digital sensor signal. The audio signal generator includes: a storage medium which stores the motion pattern of the predetermined apparatus and audio signal data corresponding to the motion pattern; and a signal generator which extracts the audio signal data from the storage medium to generate the audio signal.
