    摘要： A method and apparatus relates to the operation of a plurality of messaging devices that includes a first device operated by a first group user and remaining devices operated by remaining group users, wherein the first group user and the remaining group users are a plurality of group users communicating with each other in a messaging channel. A private reply requested text message is received in a message channel. The private reply requested text message is entered into a first device from a first group user. The private reply requested text message is transmitted to remaining group users so that the private reply requested text message appears in the messaging channel on the first device and on the remaining devices. Each of the remaining group users may reply to the private reply requested text message in the messaging channel with a respective reply. Each respective reply to the private reply requested text message is displayed on the first device, but fewer than each respective reply is displayed on at least one of the remaining devices.

    摘要： An apparatus comprising at least a processor, and a memory associated with the processor having computer coded instructions therein, wherein the computer coded instructions are configured to, when executed by the processor, cause the apparatus to perform acts comprising: receiving a first messaging communication associated with a communication platform; causing the first messaging communication to be rendered within a messaging pane in a communication interface of the communication platform; receiving a thread request to create a subsidiary thread communication; in response to receiving the thread request, generating and transmitting for display a thread summary indicator renderable within the messaging pane proximate the first messaging communication, wherein the thread summary indicator is configured to be selectable by a user with access to the first messaging communication; receiving an indication of an input indicating a selection of the thread summary indicator; and causing, based at least in part on receiving the indication of the input, rendering of the subsidiary thread communication to a thread communication pane within the communication interface, wherein a list pane, the messaging pane, and the thread communication pane are configured to be rendered within a defined display window as viewable simultaneously.

A method is provided in which state information of a chat message session between participants of a group is determined. A selection of one of a plurality of actionable objects is received based on the state information. Each actionable object comprises a type indicator to characterize a user perceivable action associated with the actionable object. Responsive to the selection, at least one participant is associated with the actionable object. The actionable object is provided to the chat message session to be selectably executed by a client device of the participant. The providing comprises updating the state information of the chat message session in accordance with the at least one actionable object.
