    Abstract: A solution is provided to ensure that messages in a message broker are handled by one and only one version of a microservice application despite there being multiple versions of the microservice application running in parallel. More particularly, one version of the microservice application is designated as the leader while the others are designated as followers. When a follower has a tenant that is then promoted to be handled by the leader via a tenant assignment change, a specialized process is started by the leader that determines the current offset with the offset where the follower stopped handling messages for that tenant. If the current offset is greater, then a specialized rewind operation is performed to process any unprocessed events from the gap. If the current offset is less or equal, then a specialized fast-forward operation is performed to discard the messages addressed to the promoted tenants on the follower.

    Abstract: The present disclosure describes systems and methods for enabling real-time conversational dialog among a large population of networked human users while facilitating convergence on groupwise decisions, insights, and solutions, and amplifying collective intelligence. A collaboration server running a collaboration application is provided, wherein the collaboration server is in communication with the plurality of the networked computing devices and each computing device is associated with one user of the population of human participants. In some cases, the collaboration server defines a plurality of sub-groups of the population of human participants. A local chat application configured for displaying a conversational prompt received from the collaboration server is provided on each networked computing device. The local chat application enables real-time chat communication with other users of a sub-group assigned by the collaboration server. According to some embodiments, the computer mediated collaboration enables through communication between the collaboration application and the local chat applications.

A telephone number is assigned to a contact center agent device to enable the contact center agent device to use the telephone number to participate in a text message communication. At a conclusion of the text message communication, the telephone number is released from the contact center agent device to enable one of the other devices to use the telephone number to either continue the same text message communication or to participate in a different text message communication.
