摘要： A dehumidifying system is disclosed which comprises a dehumidifying element to extract moisture from the air, a rotor to rotate the dehumidifying element, and a heat pump to cool and heat the air within the dehumidifying system. The dehumidifying unit has at least a regeneration zone and a dehumidifying zone. The dehumidifying zone is provided at a flow passage of supply air supplied to a low dew-point chamber and dehumidifies the supply air with a dehumidifying member. The regeneration zone allows regenerating air to pass through the dehumidifying member to regenerate the dehumidifying member. The heat pump is comprised of at least a condenser and an evaporator. The condenser of the heat pump is used to at least heat air passing through the regenerating zone and the evaporator of the heat pump is used to at least cool the supply air before it enters the dehumidifying zone.

摘要： A method for matching and splicing webs that splices, by use of splicing tape, a rear end of a strip-shaped flexible backing that is drawn and conveyed from an old roll and a front end of a strip-shaped flexible backing that is drawn and conveyed from a new roll, in a state in which the front end and the rear end are matched, wherein the method performs matching and splicing by executing: a preparation step of performing matching and splicing preparations by retaining a front end of a strip-shaped flexible backing of the new roll with one of a pair of cutting drums, and supplying splicing tape to a pair of splicing drums, respectively; a cutting step of cutting with the pair of cutting drums a strip-shaped flexible backing of the old roll and a strip-shaped flexible backing of the new roll in an overlapping state after the preparation step; a feeding step of feeding to a splicing position a rear end of the strip-shaped flexible backing of the old roll and a front end of the strip-shaped flexible backing of the new roll that are cut in the cutting step, as they are in a matched state; and a splicing step of using the pair of splicing drums to adhere and attach splicing tape to each of a front surface side and a rear surface side of a matching portion that is fed to a splicing position in the feeding step; wherein, in the preparation step, at least one of the pair of splicing drums is driven independently, and in the cutting step, the feeding step and the splicing step, the one of the pair of splicing drums is driven in synchrony with other drums.

摘要： A magnetic disk drive has a magnetic disk and a magnetic head assembly mounted on an arm. The assembly is utilized in the recording and reproducing of data on and from a recording/reproducing surface of a magnetic disk. The magnetic head assembly includes a support body for connecting the magnetic head assembly to the arm and a head chip attached to the support body. The head chip is configured and arranged for making substantially continuous sliding contact with the recording/reproducing surface of the magnetic disk during recording/reproducing. The head chip includes a wafer base, a read/write element for recording/reproducing data from the recording/reproducing surface of the magnetic disk. The read/write element is formed from a plurality of thin film layers superposed upon the wafer base and the head is elongated in a direction generally perpendicular to a plane generally defined by the recording/reproducing surface.
