摘要: Provided is an optical fiber cable which allows for high-quality signal transmission in short-distance transmission. The optical fiber cable is designed for use in optical communication based on transmitting an optical beam from a light-emitting device, to a light-receiving device. The optical fiber cable has: a proximal end which is one end thereof on the side of the light-emitting device, and a distal end which is the other end thereof on the side of the light-receiving device, wherein an optical beam returning from the side of the distal end toward the side of the light-emitting device has an M2 factor of 1.7 or more; and a length of 50 m or less.

摘要: An optical transmission system transmits a Radio Frequency (RF) signal by a frequency division multiplexing method. The optical transmission system includes a Transmitter Optical SubAssembly (TOSA), an optical fiber, and a Receiver Optical SubAssembly (ROSA). The TOSA includes a surface emitting laser diode configured to be capable of emitting light at output of 0.8 mW or more. In the optical transmission system including the surface emitting laser diode, a noise index obtained by a measurement method including a predetermined step is 10.0 dBμV or less.

摘要: A liquid crystal display apparatus includes a liquid crystal display panel including a liquid crystal cell between first second polarizing plates; and a surface light source device. The surface light source device includes a light source unit, a light guide plate for outputting first directivity light having directivity of maximum intensity in a first direction, which forms a predetermined angle from a normal direction of the light output surface in a plane approximately parallel to a light guiding direction of light, and having a high ratio of a polarized light component oscillating in the plane and a prism sheet being configured to convert the first directivity light into second directivity light directed in a second direction within a predetermined angle from the normal direction of the light output surface of the light guide plate while substantially maintaining a polarization state of the first directivity light.

摘要: A liquid crystal display apparatus comprises: a liquid crystal display panel including a liquid crystal cell between a first polarizing plate and a second polarizing plate; and a surface light source device having a light source unit and a light guide plate. In a polarized light output from the light guide plate, when the normal direction of a light output surface is defined to be at a polar angle of 90°, and the light guiding direction of the light guide plate is defined to be a direction of an azimuth angle of 0°-180°, a ratio La/Lt of integrated intensity La of output light in ranges where the polar angle is 50° to 80° and the azimuth angle is 135° to 225°, 0° to 45°, and 315° to 360° to integrated intensity Lt of total output light is 0.3 or more.

摘要: A process for separating components of a gas mixture using gas-separation copolymer membranes. These membranes use a selective layer made from copolymers of partially fluorinated or perfluorinated dioxolane monomers and a second monomer, such as dioxane or a partially fluorinated dioxolane. The resulting membranes have superior selectivity performance for gas pairs of interest while maintaining fast gas permeance compared to membranes prepared using conventional perfluoropolymers, such as Teflon® AF, Hyflon® AD, and Cytop®.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a process for separating components of a gas mixture using gas-separation copolymer membranes. These membranes use a selective layer made from copolymers of perfluorodioxolane monomers. The resulting membranes have superior selectivity performance for gas pairs of interest while maintaining fast gas permeance compared to membranes prepared using conventional perfluoropolymers, such as Teflon® AF, Hyflon® AD, and Cytop®.
