摘要: An inkjet recording apparatus provides an improved printing speed and improved convenience of use. A recording head discharges droplets of a recording liquid onto a paper so as to form an image on the paper. A belt conveyance mechanism has a belt onto which the paper is electrostatically attached. The paper attached onto the belt is conveyed in a direction perpendicular to a carding direction of the paper.

摘要: An image sensor unit, and method, used in an image reading apparatus such as a facsimile machine, image scanner, copier machine, includes a feeding path through which a feeding document, having an imaged to be read, is passed. In the feeding path, the feeding document is passed over a contact glass through which a light from a light source illuminates an image on the feeding document. Reflected light is then detected with a detection and converted into image data. However, unless appropriate measures are taken, the integrity of the image data is subject to corruption as a result of electric noise generated from discharging of excess charge developed on the contact glass when the feeding sheet moves along side of the contact glass. The present image sensor includes a method and mechanism for passing the accumulated charge to ground, thereby avoiding the possibility of electrical discharge and associated electrical noise. Furthermore, the present image sensor includes a transparent thin film made of a material that prevents the accumulation of excess charge.

摘要: An image sensor unit, and method, used in an image reading apparatus such as a facsimile machine, image scanner, copier machine, includes a feeding path through which a feeding document, having an imaged to be read, is passed. In the feeding path, the feeding document is passed over a contact glass through which a light from a light source illuminates an image on the feeding document. 摘要: An automatic document feeding device includes a document tray, an ejection tray, and a document takeout port. The document tray is rotatably attached to a rotation fulcrum provided in a body of the automatic document feeder, to load a document. The document tray includes a first positioner and a second positioner. The first positioner is disposed at a front side of the body in a direction perpendicular to a document feed direction. The second positioner is disposed at a depth side of the body in the direction perpendicular to the document feed direction. The first positioner is disposed upstream from the rotation fulcrum in the document feed direction and above the document takeout port in the body. An upper portion and side surfaces of the first positioner in the direction perpendicular to the document feed direction are surrounded by the document tray in a closed state of the document tray.
