    摘要: A battery module comprises a battery element and a storage unit configured to contain the battery element therein. The storage unit comprises an electrically conductive positive electrode-side plate and an electrically conductive negative electrode-side plate. The positive electrode-side plate and the negative electrode-side plate define a storage space to contain the battery element therein. The storage unit has a joint end provided on the periphery of the storage space and formed by joining an outer peripheral area of the positive electrode-side plate with an outer peripheral areal of the negative electrode-side plate across an insulating sheet placed between the two outer peripheral areas. The joint end comprises: a wind part formed by stacking and winding the two outer peripheral areas to be pressure-bonded to and joined with each other; and an outer peripheral frame body formed by insert molding using an insulating resin to surround the wind part.

    摘要: A high thermal conduction insulator exhibiting thermal conductivity, insulating properties and heat radiating properties is produced by supplying a molding material composed of an insulating resin, a diamagnetic material powder and a paramagnetic material (inclusive of ferromagnetic material) powder, and exhibiting fluidity into a mold, and applying a magnetic field to the molding material in the mold to orient clusters, each being composed of diamagnetic material particles of the diamagnetic material powder, which are joined together like a chain, along directions of lines of a magnetic force, and draw the paramagnetic material (inclusive of ferromagnetic material) powder with the magnetic force along one of mold surfaces of the mold, thereby forming a heat radiating layer. Heat transmitted from a facing member to one surface of the insulator is speedily transmitted to the other surface thereof via the clusters, and is effectively radiated from the heat radiating layer existing in the other surface.

The piston body has a piston top surface facing a combustion chamber, and exhibits a first thermal conductivity. The elastic adhesive sheet is formed on the piston top surface of the piston body, and includes a heat resistant resin. The low thermal-conductivity sheet is formed on the elastic adhesive layer, and exhibits a second thermal conductivity being lower than the first thermal conductivity of the piston body and falling in a range of from 5 or more to 40 W/m·K or less.
